You ran as fast as your legs could go, running far into the dark forest, hoping that you would lose whoever was following you. You knew that soon enough your body will give up on you as your breathing continued to accelerate, your throat becoming dry and the sweat forming on you forehead.
That's when you saw a cabin not too far from where you were. You remember how it was in the movies, the killer would find the victim hiding in a cabin and slaughter them.
You went to the cabin and hid behind a bush close to it, catching your breath as you wait for the psycho chasing you. That person started out as someone who stared at you, followed you, stalked you, and to now: chasing after you.
He was handsome but not mentally stable. His obsession over you was on another level.
Then you saw him. He was walking toward the cabin, his black dress shoes crunching the leaves beneath his feet. His shirt stained with blood from his previous victim who got in the way of having you.
He stopped at the door and didn't move. He dropped his gun and knife on the wooden floor at the steps then turned his head in your direction.
You immediately held your breath, lowering yourself to not be seen. You put your hand on your mouth as you heard his footsteps getting closer.
When they stopped, you froze. Staring at the grass, you waited a couple of seconds before looking up.
He wasn't there.
You uncover your mouth, slowly rising from your hiding spot and turn around to get away from the cabin.
"Found you." You heard his deep, chilling voice which made you flinch hard and step back. He had a small smile on his face, his eyes piercing through your soul as he observes you.
He grabs both of your wrists, bringing you close to him to take in his scent. His smile turns into a smirk, "You can't hide from me. I know where you go, where you'll hide, where you'll run to..."
He leans closer to your face and whispers, "I know everything."
