A present with a shiny grey bow sat next to the door of the hotel door. Jungkook was strolling down the hall and stopped at his door, staring down at the wrapped box with interest.
He bent down and picked it up, holding it under his arm as he stood back up right to unlock the door.
He enters his hotel room, closing the door behind him afterwards. He then goes to his room and sits on the bed, placing the present on his lap.
There was an envelope attached to it so he took it off and opened it up.
Happy birthday kook! Sorry I couldn't make it to your little gathering last night but I hope this makes up for my absence :) - y/n
The letter brought a small smile onto Jungkook's lips and he puts it aside, holding the present in his hands. His heart began to race as he hurriedly unwrapped the gift, throwing the material everywhere.
He then grabbed a knife and cut the box open, setting it on the nightstand beside the bed. He forcefully opened the box to see multiple gifts inside.
"A—. . a teething toy?" He held the blue toy in question then slowly put the toy in his mouth, chewing aggressively.
His phone began to ring obnoxiously loud which made him jump at the sudden sound. He grabs it, checking the ID and quickly tapping the accept button after taking the baby toy out of his mouth.
"Hey Y—Y/N, what's uh— what's going on?" Since he was on FaceTime, he quickly threw the toy back in the box and wiped his drool from the corners of his mouth.
"What you mean what's going on? I called to say happy late birthday!" The girl from the other side of line said with a smile.
"Thank you. And thank you for the present. I didn't see all the gifts but I did see the teething toy."
"Oh haha, do you like it?" She tilts her head with an innocent smile, making Jungkook blush a little.
"First of all, I'm not a baby. Second, why would I need that?"
"You're always chewing on non-edible things. A whiteboard, for example."
"I already have all my teeth!" He whines as if he hadn't even put the dang toy in his mouth.
"Sureeee. Now go see the other little gifts in the box!"
Jungkook nods and places the phone on the nightstand so Y/N will still be able to see him. He grabs the box and dumps out everything on the bed, quickly moving the baby toy out of her sight.
"Woah, a drone!? It's so cute and tiny." He smiled like child as he observed the mini drone in his big hand. He moved on to the next item, and then the next.
He was grateful for all the little gifts this girl had sent him. His warm smile brightening up his features as he stared at her with irresistible eyes. "I miss you, Y/N."
Y/N's cheeks flushed pink at his sudden words. "Oh— I miss you too, Kook."
Jungkook pouts slightly as he thinks for a moment. "If you had the chance to see me in person, what would you do?"
