Your home was filled with family and friends celebrating the most joyous holiday of all, Christmas. It's been a while since you've had some company over and it felt nice to see the smiles on people's faces.
The house smelled like sugar and gingerbread. It was pleasant and cozy.
You stare at the star on the tree, thinking about the person who bought it for you. Your bestest friend in the whole world, Min Yoongi.
He was your other half, he was always there for you. The Prince Charming to your fairytale. Sadly, you don't know his own feelings for you.
You always wished that he'd at least have some sort of love for you, he was the only boy you've ever had a strong affection for.
"Y/N," A voice from behind you interrupts your thoughts, making you turn around. Hoseok stood there with two cups of hot chocolate. "Here."
"Thank you," You say as he hands you one of the mugs, smiling. "How's your kids?"
"They're doing great actually. It's been rough but we're all good." He answers with a genuine smile. Hoseok had a divorce a few months ago and he's been a single father ever since.
"Oh, that's great!" You take a sip of the warm beverage.
"Hey, uh, I know you didn't want any gifts from me but I did get you one anyways." He says, "Can you follow me? It's in my car."
You nod in agreement, a little upset that he got you something. You didn't want to bother him or make him buy anything for you after the situation he's been through.
Hoseok guides you outside to his car which was parked on the side of road. He stood next to you in the driveway, not moving any closer to it, making you confused.
You studied his face, seeing a tiny smile on his heart-shaped lips. Looking back at his car closely, you see a figure in the passenger seat.
The figure stepped out the vehicle, making direct contact with your eyes. You could feel the tears begin to blur your vision as you see the man whom you loved dearly.
His bright gummy smile warms your heart. That's when you ran into his arms and hugged him tightly.
"W—Why are you here?" You sobbed into his chest, knowing he should be resting at his house because of his surgery that he recently got.
"I wanted to see you and . ." His arms wrap around you, pulling you closer to his body. "I'm in love with you."
His sudden confession takes you aback. "W—What?" You move away slightly to look up into his feline-like eyes.
"I wanted to see you because I wanted to tell you that I'm in love with you." Yoongi loosens his hold on you as you take in what he had just said.
