Omg... my brains going nuts... . . . So it's called "A Sad Book" and it's seems that something has triggered memories to do with either the fall or his creation. My personal theory is that (spoiler!) when Satan split from Lucifer in his past, he also got some memories from the fall despite not being there. PTSD to the max unfortunately.... I might write something following that theory but I'm worried I'm going to be wrong about it and then it'll be irrelevant haha

I just watched it and wow, I just want to get Satan a hug and tell him it's all going to be okay. While I was wrong on why he was crying I think I accidentally gave myself a new head cannon! The jest is that he was reading a story that ended tragically between two lovers from different worlds who must separate due to that... He draws a line between that story and you two and gets choked up.
