Chapter 4

Annabeth's POV

The next day, we all got read to go to Percy's house. I got ready quickly and Piper and Hazel and I quickly got in the car.

'Hey man,' Jason said walking up to Percy, 'How's everything going?'
'Tyson's better, thankfully, still at the hospital.'
'It's going to be okay.' A girl with chocolate locks said who was next to Leo, 'Oh and I'm Callie.'
'Hi!' Piper greeted her.

The doorbell rang.

'Aren't we all here?' I asked.
'We are.' Percy said, 'Mom said she won't be back until tomorrow. I'll check it.'

He opened the door. A girl with red curly hair and a face full of freckles entered.

'Rachel?'
'Percy!'

She reached up and kissed him full on the mouth. Percy kissed her back. Everyone's face fell.

'Say what now?' Piper laughed a bit, 'Ew! Get a room!'
'Guys, this is my- girlfriend, well, we sort of lost touch but we never officially cut things off...'
'Of course we didn't!' Rachel said, 'I just moved here a few days ago, heard you moved here too...'
'I missed you so much!' he said.

Why was I angry? I didn't know.

'So, are you two going to get in or not?' I asked. I realised I was being rude. Piper glanced at me.
'Yeah sorry guys.' Rachel said, 'Um... am I walking in on anything, like a group thing or-?'
'No, no!' Hazel said, 'You're part of the group now!'
'Wow... Thanks!'

Things went normally after that. Luke texted me a bit. The group mainly talked a bit.

I sighed. Luke could be overprotective. Percy and Rachel sat together holding hands. Something went through me. That empty, missing feeling was back. I shoved it off. Percy was giving options for the games

'We've got Rock Paper Scissors- extreme, the loser gets splashed water in the face. We've got Truth and Dare... Guess The Movie.'
'Truth and Dare!' Leo said.
'Truth and Dare!' Hazel said.
Will and Nico looked at each other
'Truth and Dare...'

Percy's POV

I really shouldn't have mentioned Truth And Dare, but here we go.

'Piper?' Jason asked
'Truth.'
'Hmm... Who was your ex?'
'...None of your business...'
'It's Truth and Dare.'
'Dylan...' Piper said guiltily, 'It was only for a few weeks...'
Jason furrowed his eyebrows, 'It's fine- we really don't care! It's fine, we're together...'
'Frank!' Piper said hurriedly 'Truth or Dare?'
'Dare.'
'Tell everyone about the last party... five weeks ago...'

You could tell Hazel and Frank had both gone red. I looked away and Piper pursed her lips. Leo sniggered.

'Well... it was fun... Hazel and I...'
'Kissed.' Hazel said, her eyes could have had fire dancing in them, 'And we're not ashamed to admit it.'
'Good...'

Frank wondered who to choose. Jason looked around. Leo looked at Frank and then pointedly glanced in my direction. Oh boy.

'Annabeth.' Frank said, saving my life.
'Dare...'
'Give Percy a nickname, and in return he has to as well.'
'Okay,' Annabeth said, 'Seaweed Brain.'
'Wise Girl.' I spat.

She smiled.

'Percy,' Annabeth looked towards me, 'Let's see... Text your crush, it could be your previous one, and say you love them.'
