Chapter 9

Ellingtons POV

As soon as I heard the door open I pulled away from the kiss. Panic went through me, scared to see who it was. When I saw it was only Rocky I let out a sigh. His eyes were really big so Im guessing he saw a little more than he needed to.

"Um... Sorry. I uh... I um didnt..." he said staying in the garage a few more seconds, and then left.

I looked from the door to Rydel. She has her arm across her self holding the other one and was looking at the floor. "I'm going to go talk with him," I said. She looked up and nodded at me, then I headed for the door. 

I walked out of the garage and over to where Rocky was sitting on one of the patio chairs. He was holding his knees up on the chair and staring off into space, at the other side of the pool.

"So uh. You saw what happened?" I asked him, sitting down in a chair next to him. All he did was nod. We just sat there for a couple minutes taking in the silence between us. "Listen, what happened in there meant nothing. We just got caught up in the moment, so could you please not tell anyone?" I asked looking over at him. All he did was nod again. I wasnt quite sure if he was fully listening to me or not. "Im serious Rocky."

"Yeah. Sure. Whatever," he said putting his feet down on the ground, and leaning back in the chair. 

"Ok whats going on with you?" I asked. I could tell something was wrong because he usually would have had a witty comeback to our coversation. 

"Well nothing really. Except for the fact that Blair just told me shes pregnant."

"Really?! Thats awesome!"

"Yeah for her," he said standing up. "Im not sure if Im ready to be a dad yet."

"What? You're great with the twins, Char, and Brett."

"Yeah. But thats just me being a fun uncle. It's different this time. The baby's actually mine."

Before I could say anything the back door of the house swung open and Riker and Rachel walked out. 

"Ha ha! I kicked your but mister!" Rachel yelled pointing and laughing at Riker. She stopped laughing once she saw me and Rocky. "Whats going on?"

I waited a little bit to see if Rocky was going to tell her before I said anything. Once he didnt I stepped in. "Blair told Rocky that shes pregnant and Rocky isnt sure if hes ready to be a dad yet." After I finished both Rikers and Rachels mouths dropped open.

Rachels POV

I couldnt believe what Ellington just said! Rocky? A dad? After how many times him and Blair had been broken up I would have never guessed. Rocky would make a great dad, I just never guessed that he would be one this soon. 

"Aw Rock," I said walking up and hugging my brother. "You'll make a great dad." 

"Yeah. Dont worry about it bro," Riker said walking up and wrapping his arms around the both of us.

"I want in on this!" Ell said running up to us and almost knocking everyone over.

After standing there hugging for a while Ross came running/jumping out of the back door. We all just stood there watching him until I thought someone should ask him whats going on. "Hey jumpy. What's up with you?"

"Oh nothing." After he said that we all turned our attention back to Rocky. We would have asked him what was actually going on with him but knowing that he couldnt stand not being the center of attention for long, that he would tell us himself. "Its just that I just got an email saying that I got the role I wanted in the movie I just auditioned for!"

After that everyone walked over to him and started congratulating him. Everyone except for Rocky. He was still standing where he was before looking at the ground, clearly still upset. "Everythings going to be just fine Rocky," I said wrapping my arms around him in a hug. 

"I know. They probably will. I just wasnt expecting my life to change like that so soon."

Hello people who read this far. Another chapter uploaded!! My computer hasn't magically unblocked everything lately so you guys will just have to keep bearing with me. I will admit that I did start writing this chapter like the day after I uploaded the last one and I was planning on uploading it sooner but my life got super busy. Busy as to where I had only 1-3 days of school a week because I had things going on and I had something going every weekend. And it looks like my life isnt going to stop being this busy until May and then I dont know after then because I havent filled out my calendar that far. But yeah hopefully Im free in May because my summer is already booked with my band trip, girls state, softball, detasseling and most likely more because my summers are always busy. I'll try and find some time to write though.

Walk The Moon are coming to Omaha on August 3rd and Im so excited because I really want to go but it all depends on what I have going on. Hope you all had a great Easter!! -Anna :)
