Chapter 22

Lillian POV

My life turned into a dead end... what could I do? I was trapped in a room for the rest of my life, yep I got taken to hospital with many wires and things attached to me, Luke was coming back today and I didn't want to see him not right now.

Bella took a week off school because I made Liz do it because I hardly ever see her.

I looked around the empty room seeing empty chairs and a white room around me, the nurse walked through the the double doors weakly smiling at me and carrying a tray of food.

Mhmmmm that's smells good.

"Eat up love" She said handing me the tray as I thanked her as she walked out.

I had some chicken soup, and ate it all until doors opened to reveal Calum, Ashton, Michael and Luke....

My eyes latched onto Lukes like locks never breaking, tears formed as I closed my eyes shaking my head and pointing towards the door.

"Please go" I said weakly, I slowly opened my eyes and Luke looked torn his face was pale, his lips were dull, his eyes were more grey. He cheated on me! He did it! He's done it before and now he has done it again.

"Lilly" He crocked making my lips tremble.

"Fuck you!" I almost screamed, luke shook his head running over to me and placing his lips onto mine as I tried pulling back to disconnect the tingling vibrations threw my body from such pale lips but his grip wouldn't let me move, almost like he never wants to let me go.

"Don't" He mumbled against my lips cupping my face looking into my eyes making my heart melt then and there.

I know now know matter how hard I try to forgot about him, it doesn't happen that easily, I'm drawn to him. I'm like a magnet to him, I will always truly deeply forever love luke hemmings. No matter how much he hurts me and how he can break me into little pieces, once he's there by just one kiss it's simply puts everything back together.

"I want to let you know it was a drunken mistake I never would have done it on purpose, I love you so much Lillian, I- I can't and never will stop loving you, Please forgive me" He begged kissing my lips over and over again making me smile as he stopped and smiled to.

"I'm sorry Luke, I cheated to... with Niall just so I would forget about the pain, I think I should be the one begging you and pleading for your forgiveness" I said as he shook his head kissing my nose.

"No, it's not your fault nothing ever is, it's always me babe I'm a huge fuck up" Luke said as I frowned lifting his chin up to face me.

"Your far from it Luke, I can't tell you how much I love you and how much I won't be able to keep loving you, I mean look at me" I said.

"Don't say that!" He almost shouted, "Never, your not leaving me, you won't" Luke said making me smile as tears slid down my cheeks.

Suddenly nurses came into the room as they frowned at Luke.

"Sir your not meant to be in here" one of the nurses said.

"I'm her husband" Luke said.

"I'm sorry but we can't let you in at this time, come later on when we have finished her check up okay? You're allowed to wait in the waiting room" The nurse said as Luke kissed me.

"I'll be back soon babe okay?" He said quickly hurrying out of the double doors as I sighed.

Once my scans were done with I just lay there waiting to get my results back, I hope it's not bad, lets hope because I'm definitely full of bad luck.

One nurse came back with a pad looking at me sweetly with a hint of sadness, oh no.

"Good news or bad news?" She asked.

"Good" I replied quickly.

"Well your allowed out with a tube of liquid that hast to be ejected at all times" She said, "but the bad news that, you life expectancy isn't very long" She said.

"How long?" I asked full of shock.

"One month and a half" She said.

That was until my life ends... one month and a half. just like that? I'm gone? Totally gone? I'm sure I can get better right?!

"Is their any cure to make me better?" I asked whilst she shook her head almost crying and heading out of my room quickly.

"LUKE!" I almost screamed as he came running in along with everyone else as he ran over to me and held my hand kissing it.

"What is it?" He asked as I started crying.

"I'm allowed out" I said weakly smiling.

"That's great, what's bad about that?" He said smiling as I couldn't speak because I knew my next words would break that smile.

"They said my life expectancy wasn't long... they said it was at least 1 month and a half" I said making Luke's lips part and tears build up but anger creep up onto his face as he let go of my hand clenching his own and storming out.

Callie ran over to me hugging me as I seen Ashton running out after him as everyone stood silent looking at me sadly.

"Does that mean 1 month and a half until she gets better?" Bella asked as I cried burying my head into Callie's shoulder.

Luke POV

My body felt like shutting down my heart was pounding like it was going to explode at any moment, she didn't have long, and I didn't either.

FUCKING CANCER.

"Luke!" Ashton shouted as I turned clenching my fists. "Calm down" He said as I shook my head tears falling down my face.

"How can I?! She's gonna die Ashton!! She doesn't have long! It FUCKING HURTS!" I shouted sliding down the wall into a ball.

"Dude of course it's gonna hurt but do you really wanna spend her last days like this and not enjoying and having the bestest time as possible with her?! We're on a break, have fun with her we all should" Ashton said, he's gonna point, yeah let's do that I should spend every moment with her as best as I can.

And never let those moments slip away ever.

I just don't want her to go.
