!fem reader!

a/n : this is when you've already graduated hogwarts . enjoy .

you were on the couch playing with one of Tom's hand while his other hand was holding his book up to his eye level to read . he was wearing glasses and i tell you , Tom is literally the cutest wearing glasses .

you often tease him about how cute he looks with glasses on to which he would whine and ask you to stop because it was making him blush and he would feel all flustered . he would also bury his head into your chest . (a/n : seriously , what a cutie <3)

today you weren't feeling like teasing him because you just wanted to be in silence and just enjoy Tom's presence . so that leads you here , to you playing with Tom's rings and just enjoying the comfortable silence . (a/n : ugh choke me daddy 😩✋🏻)

after an hour , you got bored of playing with Tom's fingers and was suddenly very interested in the book he was reading . he was reading the book for an hour . come on , if you were reading that book you'd probably throw it aside and cuddle with Tom .

you sat up and leaned on his shoulder . Tom then kissed your forehead and continued reading .

"baby , what are you reading ?" you asked .

"a time to kill by John Grisham . this one is from 3:3 in the Ecclesiastes , again part of the old testament . the anonymous author is a king of Jerusalem who relates and analyses events in his own life" he said , not looking away from his book . (a/n : of course he wouldn't be looking away from his book . what a nerd 🙄✋🏻 but our nerd <3)

you thought of an idea ! maybe you could ask him to read it to you . would it work ? time to find out .

"um , could you read it to me please ?" you asked , playing with your fingers .

he looked over to with a look of confusion , shock and amusement . he knew you hated reading so he was surprised to hear those words come out of your mouth . he still smiled .

"of course my darling . you wanna lie down first ?" he responded .

you nodded and he positioned you two so you were you were on top of him and your head was on his chest .

he then lifted his wand . "accio blanket" he said and after a few seconds , a blanket covered the two of you .

"do you want me to start from the beginning ?" he asked .

"yes please" you said , not wanting to miss a single detail .

he turned the pages to the very first and started reading .

"chapter one ."

a few hours of Tom reading , your eyes lids were starting to get heavy . it was late at night and Tom's voice was just so soothing . he saw that you were having a hard time keeping your eyes open and smiled .

he kissed your forehead . "go to sleep angel , it's okay . i won't be offended" he said .

with that , you snuggled into his chest and closed your eyes . he set the book down on the coffee table and wrapped his arms around your waist .

he kissed your head . "goodnight , my love" he said before resting his chin on your head and falling asleep .
