a/n : this is in Tom Riddle's era where a young girl who is a vampire transfers to Hogwarts and becomes friends with Tom's followers and eventually captures Tom's attention and makes him fall in love with her . maybe she could even put a stop to his evil ways and change him ? read to find out . as always , enjoy .

"now , everyone i would like to introduce you to our transfer student , Y/n Salvatore !" Headmaster Dippet announced .

you then took a seat on the chair when Professor Dumbledore placed the sorting hat on your head . you could hear everyone whispering to each other .

"transfer student ?"

"why is she transferring only now ?"

you just ignored them .

"ah , a Salvatore . i've been waiting a long time to sort one of your kind" the sorting hat said .

"hmm , interesting . very interesting . ah i know , Y/h (your house) !" the sorting hat announced .

Y/h cheered loudly and you went to sit at the table immediately being swarmed with people greeting you .

"now , Y/n will be starting her sixth year at Hogwarts so do be kind" Professor Dippet warned .

"now everyone , dig in !" he said before sitting down and the whole of the great hall starting gobbling down their food .

a few months later , Y/n had gotten a lot of friends and was very popular . she started becoming friend's with Tom's followers without even realising .

but there's something about her that no one knows yet cause she has a secret . (a/n : miRaCuLoUs ehem- sorry) she's a vampire . a Salvatore . a family known for being vampires . yet , no one suspected anything . idiots .

your overwhelming beauty had gotten a lot of boys falling head over heels for you . not to mention how well you were doing academic wise . you never really paid attention to boys except for him .

there was this boy that intrigued you on the first day of term . he was reading a book , not sparing you a glance while everyone else was basically eye fucking you . you later found out his name , Tom Riddle . you wanted to get to know him but he always seemed so closed off and interested in his studies and you didn't want to disturb him so you just left him alone .

but today , that all changes . you were finally going to strike up a conversation with the infamous Tom Riddle .

you had studied him for a while (a/n : more like stalk-) you know his classes since you shared most of them together and knew where he would be during the day . The library .

you made your way to the library to see the beautiful boy sitting at a table , nose in a book as usual . you smiled and walked over to him .

"is this seat taken ?" you asked .

he looked up at you for a second and back at his book .

"no" he said bluntly .

you then took a seat .

"i'm-"

"Y/n Salvatore . i'm aware . Tom Riddle" he said still reading . silence . kind of awkward but whatever .

Tom then broke the silence . "i was wondering what a vampire was thinking when she decided to join Hogwarts ." he broke the silence , placing the book down on the table . he smirked as he saw the confusion on your face .

"wow , impressive . i knew you were smart but not that smart . maybe students at Hogwarts aren't as stupid as i thought they were" you chuckled .

"oh most of them are , there's very few like me sweetheart" he said leaning back into his chair .

"oh i'm aware . how about we get to know each other ? i figure smart people should stick together" you smiled . he chuckled .

"deal ."

a few months later , you and Tom had become best friends . sharing secrets with each other and talking shit about people you didn't like (a/n : a relationship like this 😩✋🏻)

you hate to admit but you have caught feelings for Tom Riddle . you knew you shouldn't . you knew he couldn't feel love so you decided to hide those feelings deep down . little did you know , he felt the same .

he couldn't believe it at first . he was baffled . he didn't know what to do . he tried pushing away the idea . but the more he thought of it , you were the only one he wanted to be with . the one he wanted to protect . the only one he truly cared for . and come to think of it , you were the only one he had a soft spot for . he would act like a complete jerk to everyone but you .

there was a lot of tension between you two . it could be easily cut with a knife .

one day you just couldn't take it anymore .

you and Tom were in his dorm , reading . it was so quiet and you couldn't hold it in anymore .

fuck it you thought before climbing into Tom's lap and kissing him . instead of pushing you away like you thought he would , he pulled you closer . you wrapped your arms around his neck and his hands snaked to your waist . you started grinding on him abit causing him to groan .

he parted his lips from yours and started attacking your neck , quickly finding your sweet spot .

"Tom ..." you moaned .

"ugh , Y/n ..." he groaned before stopping .

"Tom , i- i like you i know you don't and can't feel the same-" he then kissed you . (a/n : gosh miss gurl so insecure and for what 🙄✋🏻 i'm kidding , love you <3)

"Y/n , i'm not supposed to feel this way . we both know that . but i feel something for you . could it be love ? i'm not sure . all i know is i'd do anything to keep you safe" he said .

you smiled . "look at that , Tom Riddle is in love with me" you kissed him .

"be my girlfriend ?" he asked .

"of course" you said .

"but" you interrupted . his smile slowly turned into a frown .

"i've recently discovered about what you are planning . i want you to stop . not only for our relationship but for your safety . horcruxes are really dark magic . i don't want you getting involved in that and getting hurt . so please , stop for me ?" you said .

he thought for a moment before speaking again .

"of course , my love ."
