a/n : this imagine takes place during the Order Of The Phoenix when you were dating Harry Potter . even when dating Harry , you had feelings for Tom but Harry got to you first . Tom feels the same .when you walked back in to talk to him , you saw him kissing Cho Chang . you broke up with him on the spot and run away . Tom Riddle finds you crying and comforts you . also voldemort and Tom Riddle are different people in this story . enjoy .

"thank you everyone ! you all may go now !" your boyfriend , Harry Potter announced .

you packed your things and walked out with Ginny , not noticing Harry not following you but instead staring at Cho .

you waved bye to Ginny and looked behind you finally noticing your boyfriend wasn't there .

odd you thought to yourself . you went back to look for Harry when you saw him kissing Cho . you dropped your bag and they turned to look at you .

"Y/n ! i-" he tried to defend .

"save it Potter . we're over ." you said grabbing your bag and leaving the room . ouch that must have hurt him . you've always called him Harry even before you were dating . so to hear his last name come out of his mouth , it really hurt him and he must have really hurt you . (a/n : i don't care if he's the main character he don't get to cheat on you like that 🙄✋🏻 girl get yourself a new man aka Tom Riddle who treats you right cause you deserve it b 😩🤌🏻)

you ran into an empty hallway , attempting to hide from Harry .

"Y/n ! Y/n ! Y/n !" he called but you didn't respond . he tried to keep quiet until his calls for you were far away then you slid down on the wall and started crying .

"Y/n ?" that oh so familiar voice called out . you looked up and saw Tom looking down at you with concern in his eyes .

"what happened ?" he asked as he sat beside you .

you couldn't say anything and just cried into his shoulder .

he then pulled you into his lap and hugged you .

"it's okay if you don't want to tell me love" he whispered .

"h-he cheated on me" you sobbed into his chest .

"shh i'm here , let it all out princess" he whispered .

"he doesn't deserve you , he just doesn't understand or know how to appreciate you . just because he's the chosen one doesn't mean he gets to do anything and everything . especially toy with your feelings and break your heart" Tom scoffed and hugged you tighter .

"Tom ... i'm sorry i didn't choose you . it's just that ... Harry got to me first and i didn't want to hurt his feelings . but somehow , i got played by the one who wanted me first" you chuckled sadly . (a/n : honestly too kind for this world 🥺)

he planted a firm kiss on your head . "that's the Y/n i know , always too kind for her own good" Tom chuckled .

"but you have to stop putting other's feelings before yours because you're going to get hurt over and over again" he said . (a/n : yuh tell her babe)

"Y/n ! i finally found you" Harry panted with relief .

he then noticed you in Tom's lap .

"what are you doing with Riddle ?" he asked .

Tom then stood up and placed you behind him .

"comforting the girl that you cheated on" Tom growled .

"that's why i'm here . i'm trying to apologise-" Harry was then pinned to the wall , wand at his neck .

"you think a simple 'i'm sorry' is going to fix her broken heart ?! how dare you break the love of my life's heart ! (a/n : aww , love you baby <3) she only accepted you because she didn't want to hurt your feelings and yet you played her ?! incompetent little cheat ! you'll pay for it dearly Potter . i swear on the Salazar's name-" Tom shouted .

"Tom !" you exclaimed .

they both turned to look at you and you had tears in your eyes . he immediately softened seeing you in that state .

"leave him , he's not worth any of our time" you said dragging him away from Harry .

"of course , my dear . i'm sorry" he said hugging you once more .

"it's fine let's just go" you said pulling him away . Tom gave Harry one last death glare before pulling you into his side and rubbing up and down your arm .

a few months later , you and Tom became a couple and you were the happiest you've ever been in a while . he would shower you with love , time , affection and attention . not to mention he loves covering your face in kisses . (a/n : SHHDHDDHHD EHHEHEHE 🥰🥰💘 sorry fan girling- back to the story) that was something Harry had never done .

speaking of Harry , you and him are on better terms now . you both decided you'd be better off as friends but sometimes he still gets hurt seeing you and Tom so happy together but that's his fault . anyway , he has Ginny now and they're very happy together .

so the last few years of Hogwarts was you fighting alongside Tom through thick and thin and eventually getting married and having as many kids you want [a/n : i'll let you decide :)]

all was well .
