"So this looks fun, huh?"
Everyone became silent. Well, it doesn't look like fun anymore.
"You have three years here to become a hero. You think it's all gonna be games and playtime?", Aizawa sharpened.
From a students standpoint, it would be smarter to add in a bit of fun. But right now you were being treated as if you're already adults. There was no time for games, apparently.
"Idiots..", Aizawa then grinned oddly.
"Today you'll compete in eight physical tests to gage your potential. Whoever comes in last has none, and will be expelled immediately."
"What?!", you and most of the other students shouted.
Immediate expulsion?! What the hell, that's not fair! Everyone was now in a bit of a panic. This was to see who was going to be the best and who was never going to make it. But on the first day..
"Like I said, I get to decide how this class runs." Aizawa pulled his hair back to show his sleep deprived eyes. They had this crazed look in them that pissed you off.
"Understand? If that's a problem you can head home right now."
"Hang on, that's not fair! It's the first day, you can't just send us home out on a whim!", you exclaimed.
"Yeah! We just got here, even if it wasn't the first day, that isn't fair.", the brunette girl agreed.
Aizawa glared at both of you, but you kept his gaze in a challenging manner.
"Oh and you think natural disasters are?"
Now you caught your tongue.
"Or power hungry villains, hm? Or catastrophic accidents that wipe out whole cities? No. The world is full of unfairness. It's a hero's job to try to combat that unfairness.", Aizawa ranted.
"If you wanna be a pro you're gonna have to push yourself to the brink, for the next three years U.A. will throw one terrible hardship after another at you. So go beyond, plus ultra style. Show me it's no mistake that you're here."
You growled under your breath at how much of a point your teacher had. All of it was the same difference, you arguing would just be a waste of breath. Fine. You'll just have to go along with it.
"Now then, we're just wasting time by talking. Let the games begin."

Test One: 50-meter dash.
"Runners on your marks! Ready? Go!"
A tiny robot place at the finish line of the track made a pistol shot sound. The first two to race was Tenya and a girl who hopped like a frog. Tenya's sweatpants were rolled up so he could use his quirk, engines in the back of his quads growled like a motorcycle to give him such speed.
"Three point zero four seconds!"
Then a moment later.
"Five point five eight seconds!"
Next up was the brunette girl and a male with a tail for a quirk.
"I'll lighten up my clothes. Oh! And my shoes too!"
The girl pressed her finger tips against her clothes and shoes, their bright pink shine hinting at her gravity quirk.
