After the villain attack, class was cancelled for the next day. You didn't sustain any injury once again, and it seemed you were growing more and more impatient to get back into school. Your mother was babying you all day, bringing in a drink, making your favorite snack, and just being a smother mother the whole time.
All that was on your mind was the villain attack. Lord knows what would've happened if All Might didn't show up. You leaned back into your bed, your back stopping at the headframe. "What am I going to do.."
You couldn't keep up like this. Fainting, constantly in pain because you're not used to fighting with your quirk, and just the stress of being in that hero class. Oddly enough, it made you think back to Katsuki. It was like your memory was playing on rewind, remembering how you almost instinctively went into his arms for protection and him not hesitating to take the blow. All those memories of him being a jackass seemed so childish when he's actually living up to his words. He's trying to be a hero, doesn't matter if he hates your guts. Katsuki will save your ass and give you hell about it later, it made you smile.
Maybe... maybe you really haven't been trying. You said this once, but your heart didn't really agree until now. As much as you can hold your own, there's no point in going to U.A. if you're not giving it your all.
There were two knocks on the door. "Come in."
Your father slowly opened the door to your room, poking out his head. "You doing okay, (Y/n)?"
You crossed your legs and nodded your head softly. (F/n) walked in and closed the door behind him. His demeanor was off, not in the usual worry kind of way. More like he was hiding something. "This is going to be hard to take, I know. Being a hero was never going to be easy, but to be introduced to villains so early into the school year got me thinking."
You hugged your knees. "It was scary.. they had this bird monster thing, it was called a Nomu."
Your father nodded. Eventually, he sat next to you and opened his hand for you to take. You sat up and snuggled closer to him instead.
"The news say they've found and captured what you're talking about. I don't want anything ever happening to you, but being at that school means you need to train there and at home."
You watched (F/n) clasp his hands together, the room becoming cold with his quirk in use. Using the moisture in the air and the dropping temperature, he manipulated the ice cold water in his hand in the form of a katana. It was cloudy and beautiful, reflecting any light in the room. You watched with awe as the water froze and became firm, he made an ice sword from his bare hands.
You got up from your bed with a dorky smile on your face, you didn't know your father could do that! And what about your mother? If they both can do this kind of thing, then there was more to your quirk than you'd thought. Your hand slowly felt across the freezing cold, spiky katana that could cut through the thickest and thin of objects.
"That's so cool! Are you saying I can do this?!", you exclaimed. Your father laughed and stood up to guide you out of your room.
"If you push yourself to your limits, you can do much more than make a simple weapon (Y/n). Today I want to teach you something you and your brother should learn."

Going back to school was like a stress reliever. The class was noisy and filled with excitement, Denki was going on about how the people loved your class. Kyoka shot him down real quick.
You were too busy thinking about what your father taught you. It was a difficult thing to get right and you needed to practice it more. You twirled your fingers around your desk, lost in a world of imagination. Small water particles danced around your hand and you watched in amusement.
