°Ariella°

Blue and red flashing lights were blinding my eyesight as i sat in the back of an ambulance. I told everyone that i was fine, but they insisted on bandaging up my wounds from earlier that night.

"Do i need to call your dad or what?" The sheriff asked.

"Oh, um, no. I think i can get home." I told him with a fake smile as the EMTs walked away.

"I know that but, you car is going to need to stay with us. It's evidence." My poor attempt of a smile instantly dropped at his words.

"M-My car?" I gulped, knowing that the whole Beacon Hills Police Department would find my arsenal of weapons.

"Yes. Are there any personal items you need to remove?" He whispered to me.

"Yes, yes! Absolutely, i have things that need to be removed." I spoke loudly.

"Alright, just tell me what they are and I'll retrieve them for you." He took out a pen and his notebook and looked at me oddly.

"I-I think i can get them myself." I told him as i jumped out of the ambulance and fast-walked towards my car.

"Wait, you can't go ba-" His voice was drowned out as i looked at my empty trunk.

My mouth opened in the slightest. "What the hell?" I quietly asked myself.

"Ariella, you're not supposed to be back here." Sheriff grabbed my arm and started to pull me away. I wasn't paying attention though; I was too busy wondering where all of my shit was. It was there when i was attacked, but now it's not.

"Hey, did you hide my weapons?" I asked once i walked up to Stiles.

"No. Why are they missing?" He asked with furrowed eyebrows.

"Yeah, they were there when i grabbed the gun out." I was beyond confused at this point.

"Maybe they already found them." He offered.

"I'd be in handcuffs right now if they found everything Stiles." I explained.

"Maybe there wasn't as much as you thought. Everything's okay, you just need to go home and rest." Stiles put a hand on my shoulder in a comforting way.

"Yeah, you're right." I looked down.

"Scott's here. Maybe he can give you a ride." Stiles lead me to the car Scott was driving.

"Ariella?" Scott asked in confusion when i walked up to his window.

"Hey, Scott, do you think you can give me a ride home?" I asked with a smile.

I noticed him staring at the cuts on my face and up my arms. The blood covering my shirt made him visibly gulp.

"Only if you tell me what the hell happened. You didn't look like this when i left you at the rink." He was serious.

I nodded and got into the back seat. "And don't tell me it was a wreck, which was the worst damn lie ever." Stiles scoffed while he spoke.

"After you left i got attacked." I started, staring blankly in space. Scott and Stiles looked at each other, worried about me, but truthfully i was just confused. "It was that lizard thing. It attacked me as i was getting in my car but it's weird. It had the chance to kill me; i was pinned down with no weapons and then last minute it just took off. And like in there, it could have killed us, Stiles, but it didn't. I-It's like-"

I couldn't finish my sentence, so Stiles did. "It's like it didn't want to." I shook my head in agreement. "I understand what you mean. It's not like you Scott, its eyes were almost like, killing. There was something about them."

"What do you mean?" Scott asked in confusion.

"You know when you see a friend in a Halloween mask, and you feel like you know who it is but you can't figure out who it is?

"What, are you are saying you know who it is?" Scott asked.

"No, but I think it knew us." Stiles looked at me and i gulped.

Ariella Rose Argent was actually scared.
