So my dad thinks that I should help him train Allison and now is a brilliant time to start, 8 o'clock at night. So that is why I am now standing in an old, abandoned, burned down house, waiting on my dad's hunting friend to 'kidnap' Allison and bring her here. This house was really starting to creep me out; it was almost all the way burned and old blood splattered the wall and window behind me. If Chris was trying to scare Allison, he definitely chose the right place. But how did he find it?
"Hey dad?" I asked curiosity clear in my tone.
"Mhm." I heard him mumble.
"I get that you're trying to train Allison and freak her out or whatever, but uh, why did you choose this house and how the hell did you find it? It's literally in the middle of nowhere." I said as I then, for probably the hundredth time, scoped out the scene around me.
"It's the old Hale house." He said as he crossed his arms and stared straight forward. avoiding any and all eye contact with me.
"You mean 'The Hales'?" I asked while raising an eyebrow.
He simply nodded his head 'yes' and continued staring straight ahead. I crossed my arms over my chest as I remembered Kate telling me about the Hales. About how they were nice as humans but as werewolves, they were as evil as evil could get. She also told me how she dated one but he turned on her or something like that, I don't remember the entire story but he 'broke her heart'.
I was taken out of my thoughts when Chris spoke. "This is also where your Aunt Kate was killed." My entire body froze and the arms that were crossed over my chest tightened. All of the air in my lungs was gone and he just stood there, watching me intently.
"What?" I finally spoke after what seemed like forever, but was only a few seconds.
"Yeah. Right behind us actually." He said as he turned around to look at the blood stains. I slowly started to turn and look also. "The alpha brought her in here and slashed her throat. The alpha was a Hale, Derek Hale's uncle to be exact; he was seeking revenge because of what your aunt did to him and his family." He said as he just stared at me, wondering how I was going to react. Surprisingly, I was fine, my breathing was back to normal and I wasn't stiff. I was actually more curious about what happened.
"What did she do?" I asked as I turned my head to look at him.
He sighed a big sigh before explaining. "Kate dated Derek Hale back in the day, she knew he was a wolf but I don't think he knew that she was a hunter. Anyways, I don't exactly know what happened in between that, something bad, I just don't know what." He looked over at me to make sure I was paying attention so I just nodded my head and blinked about a million times.
"One day Derek and his sister, Laura, I think her name was, were at school while the rest of the Hales were at home. I don't know how Kate did it but she somehow locked them all up in the basement and set this place on fire. Killing all of the Hales, except for Peter, Derek's uncle a.k.a the alpha. After that she just left town, moved away, and just left Derek and his sister to come home and find the house like this."
He paused again after noticing the horrid expression on my face. I wasn't freaked out because of what my aunt did, I knew that she was pretty crazy, but because of Derek; Derek freaking hot ass Hale. I had a crush on the guy who dated my aunt, the guy who got his whole family killed by my aunt, the guy who probably hates me and wants me dead. The inside of me was screaming tons of cuss words but on the outside, I was begging for Chris to finish the story.
"Peter wanted revenge on Kate after he got out of his 'coma' and so that's what he did. He killed her, he tried to kill me and Allison too but Derek killed him because he found out Peter was the one who killed his sister, Laura, and now he's dead and Derek is alpha." He said as he turned around to look towards the chair he had set out. I was still in shock to learn about Derek more than anything. But I had one more question.
