Julian's POV

"Stop tapping your foot!" Zach says with a glare.

"Sorry," I mumble. I hadn't even noticed I was doing it. "I'm just nervous."

Jayden gives me the weirdest look. "Why? It's just Allie. She's seen you sing on X Factor, on the internet. Who cares?"

I roll my eyes. "She's never seen us live. What if I mess up?"

"You won't," comes a whisper near my ear.

I spin around so fast, I nearly knock Allie over.

"You may knock me out though," Allie says, looking a little stunned.

"I'm so sorry!" I say quickly, grabbing her shoulders. "I'm jumpy as anything."

"Julian's broken," Will teases, walking into the chill out room.

"Shut up!" I snap.

Allie grabs my face. "You'll be fine. Just relax babe." She steps up on her toes and presses her lips to mine.

Allie's POV

Someone clearing their throat behind me pulls me away from my sweet kiss with Julian. I look back and see Chloe and Pippa with their arms folded over their chests.

"Oh right," I say with a cheesy grin. "Official introductions. Chloe and Pippa, have at 'em girls." I motion to the other four boys so that they'll all introduce themselves and leave Julian and I alone.

It works for a little bit, and the boys are more than happy to entertain my two best friends while I try and calm Julian down. I sit on the couch with him, my legs over his lap, and just hold his hand. All too soon Chloe and Pippa have squished around us, giving us expectant looks.

"What?" I ask, a little frightened as to what might happen next.

"We've never officially met," Chloe says, raising an eyebrow at Julian. "We're Allie's best friends, and if you hurt her, we will hurt you."

"Badly," Pippa adds with a glare.

Julian fights off a smile. "Understood. I promise I won't hurt Allie."

The girls seem happy with that, so we all go out and watch the support group, What About Tonight. I wasn't a huge fan of theirs on X Factor, but they're really good. When they come off stage we all get introduced, and then there isn't long to wait for The Collective.

I grab Julian just before he goes on and kiss him. "You'll do great," I whisper with a smile.

Julian grins back at me. "I love you."

I break into the biggest smile. "I love you too."

Julian's POV

When we hit the stage the sound is deafening, but I can still hear the echo of Allie's declaration of love in my head, feel it on my lips, taste it on my tongue. I've never wanted a show to go so perfect as I want it to go tonight.

I get my wish. Everything goes according to plan, and halfway through the set is when Jayden and Zach bring out their guitars and we sit down on our chairs - me in the middle.

"Alright guys," I say, feeling a rush after just jumping around to Footloose. "We're gonna slow it down. You're lucky enough to be the first Collectors ever to hear this song. I wrote it a few weeks ago, about the most amazing girl. Some of you may know her. She's beautiful and perfect, and I'm so glad I have her here tonight. So Allie, this is for you. This is 'Waited So Long'."
