Julian's POV

I'm sitting on the couch, my fingers tapping furiously away against my legs, and my pizza is untouched. I've never been this amped up in my life. Ok, maybe when I'm just about to go on stage. Yeah, that's it. Sitting here thinking about whether or not I text Allie 45 minutes after we just spoke is like getting ready to go on stage. I'm nervous and excited all at once. It's times like this when I wish Will 'Romance' Singe was around to help.

To pass the time, I write a new song, this one much happier than any of my other songs. The boys will be proud. Jayden's home first, because he typically is the sensible, early to bed boy of the group. I put on my best poker face and he doesn't suspect a thing. As much as I love Jayden, I need to talk to Will. Trent's back next, and I'm dying of anticipation for Will to walk through the door. Eventually, at nearly one in the morning, he returns.

"Will!" I hiss in urgency the second he's through the door.

"Julian?" he asks, puzzled as to why I'm awake this late/early.

"I gotta talk to you."

"Ok?" Will sounds tired and confused, coming to sit beside me.

I look over my shoulder in the most suspicious of ways. Jayden and Trent are already in bed, but I just don't want them knowing about this yet. "I found her."

Will sits for a minute, frowning at the coffee table. He looks up at me, and it's only when he sees my massive smile that I think he figures it out. "Allie?"

"Yeah. Tonight, at the DVD store. She was there with her friends. It was her birthday," I start rambling on.

"Wait, so what happened?" Will asks.

"I just, I didn't know what to say. It was so weird seeing her again. We talked for a couple of minutes, and then she left with her friends." I shake my head.

"You didn't get her number?!" Will practically yells.

"Shhhh! I'm getting to that. I didn't know what to say, and I just watched her leave. Then I realised I was making a huge mistake and ran out after her." I watch Will's face. "I got her number. I just don't know what to do with it now."

Allie's POV

Chloe and Pippa bombard me with questions from the second we get in the car and Julian returns to pay for his 'stolen' DVD. I don't have much to tell them though - they saw what I saw. Eventually they settle down and we watch the movies, eating junk food and such. But I keep my phone close to me, ready to pounce on it if and when Julian texts.

I have the most restless night, tossing and turning and thinking of Julian nonstop. Around 2am I realise I'm not going to get any sleep, so I get off the mattress on the floor that I'm sharing with Chloe and head for Pippa's kitchen.

As I'm sitting, drinking my cup of Milo, Chloe walks in rubbing her eyes.

"Can't sleep?" I ask, getting up and making her a cup of Milo too.

"I heard you get up. Just wanted to check you were ok. Thanks." She takes the glass from me and sits at the table.

"Sorry," I say sheepishly. "Just thinking."

"About Julian." It's not a question.

"You got me." I raise my hands in defeat. "I just can't believe I saw him again tonight."

"It's a good thing," Chloe says with a 'duh' look her face. "So stop questioning it and just accept the fact that the stars have aligned to give you and sexy mofo a second chance."
