The next few weeks you have been rather busy. You and Harry have been practicing with the team nonstop. Even Professor Snape was being less lenient with you during Flying class. Surprisingly, that was his way of supporting you as a friend even if it meant that you would beat his house at the match. He would still tell you when you were doing a good job though. He also started being nicer to the other students and doing the same for them too. It was nice to see this side of him. It was something you weren't used to and it made you smile. You loved seeing how ambitious Professor Snape truly was and how carefree he was being around you. It made you feel special even though it probably meant nothing.
Ever since Niklaus asked to hang out, he has been bugging you constantly about not having enough time for him anymore. You were starting to feel guilty for it. He was your best friend and he said he mainly understood why you were busy. But he felt as if you were casting him out of your life. He said that you don't even try to keep in contact with him anymore unless it was at dinner or in the common room. He even got mad that you were seemingly replacing him with Harry and even Snape. The thought itself was ridiculous. If you hadn't known any better, you would think he was jealous. Which he was about your friendship, but him having feelings for you seemed almost impossible now. You of course still had feelings for him and you didn't even know why. You just do. And it hurt when he flirted with other girls. Keeping busy was the only thing you could do to keep your mind off of him. Hanging out with Severus and Harry was really helping you do that. But was it really worth it if it is hurting him? You wondered.
So you continued your meetings with Dumbledore. After the meeting you and Snape had shared with Dumbledore the night of tryouts, he had you go back that Saturday to talk about your time spent at the greenhouses working on the wolfsbane potions. He had asked you if you had spoken to Remus or Anna about the adoption thing. Which you had not. But he did talk to them and Remus now knows that you are aware he is your brother. Over the few weeks, Remus has been reaching out to try and redeem himself to you and asking if there is anything he could do to prove he cares about you. You weren't really forgiving him because you didn't really care about a family at this point. You only cared about the people around you now, and those who were there for you when you needed them. He may have come to rescue you all last year, but we all know it wasn't for you really. It was more for Harry since he is only aware that Harry is the "chosen one". That and he is the son of his dead best friends. Remus is smart, cool, kind, and collected. You do admire your brother. But you don't see him as a brother yet. So to redeem himself, he and Dumbledore spoke. Dumbledore asked Remus if he would test your wolfsbane potions and find other werewolves to test them too since he has been finding other werewolves to join us against Voldemort. He hesitantly agreed. So far there haven't been any negative results with any complications. In fact, after bringing them to a hidden facility made in the woods Remus goes to, it has been shown that their memories are beginning to stay, they have better control of their wolf form, and they are learning to control the ability to stay human or become a werewolf.
Severus has become really impressed with you. After your slight success with the updated version of the wolfsbane potions, he asked you if he could learn them and experiment with you. You were somewhat shocked but you gladly agreed. He was an expert in the field and it could become an advantage to get advice from a potions master. You would ask Professor Slughorn for help, but you, Severus, Remus, and Dumbledore all agreed this was to remain secret from the rest of the world. You couldn't work with other professionals, or share it to help many others down the way. Your name was kept secret from being published as the one who developed the potion. We didn't need another reason for the dark lord to get in contact with you and use you as a weapon for the war. There was one thing you were still confused about though. The prophecy said that you would be invincible unless you willingly died. How is that possible if you are just a normal witch? You were not a vampire, or a werewolf, don't have a stone to give you immortality. But perhaps you could? Vampires and Werewolves are polar opposites except for one thing in common. They perform their best at night with the moon. They both kill each other, werewolves with their blood, vampires by brutal strength. But what if there was a ritual or a solution that could make both of their blood unite to form one entity? What would happen if you created it? Would they have complete control over their werewolf form, be able to go out in the sunlight, still be a witch or wizard? You were curious to find out, and now you were going to test your theories and research a way to make that happen. You were going to be the creator of the Muertos. This was dangerous, you needed to know who you could trust. But maybe this is what the prophecy meant.
