Am I safe?

Over the next few days, you have been busy with classes and spent your free time at the potions club in the greenhouses developing your wolfsbane potions. You plan on doing experiments with the potions to try and create a different type of cure. Maybe an advanced version or even something completely different that would help the werewolves. Not sustain them from being a werewolf, but be able to embrace it without forgetting who they are or transforming into an unconscious killer. Since your sister had not gotten you an owl, you decided you were going to send her a letter and ask that she get you a microscope and proper equipment instead since they don't have them at Hogwarts. 

Everything since last Friday has been relatively normal. Snape hasn't really bothered you much and you were grateful for it. He seemed to know that you were going through something and needed your space. Other than creating your wolfsbane potions, you had been preparing for tryouts and helping Ron with Harry. Right now it was Thursday, and it was time for quidditch tryouts. You saw a few people you already know from the team last year. Katie Bell, Jimmy Peakes, Ritchie Coote, Andrew Kirke, Jack Sloper, Demelza Robins, Alicia Spinnet,Ginny Weasely, Dean Thomas, Lee Jordan and you are missing Niklaus and Oliver. Fred and George didn't come back. But Ron is here, and so is Mclaggen which you could do without. There are some students you haven't met before or younger than the rest of you. Harry hasn't shown up yet. You think Dumbeldore asked to speak with him alone this time. He should be on his way here though.

"Katie! How are you doing?" You came up to her and hugged her. You two had gotten close during quidditch practices.

"I'm doing great, not sure about Ron though"-Katie

"Are you alright Ronald?"-Ginny

Ron looks absolutely petrified. His limbs are glued to his sides, nothing bent, his eyes wide and skin white as if paralyzed by a basilisk.

"Must I do this? I am barely good. I can try again next year"-Ron

"We've worked on it with you in the summer and this week. You'll be okay"-Y/N

"Stop being a child"-Ginny

"That's offensive to children Ginny"-Y/N 

Ginny snorts.

"Oh don't worry about it Weasley, I'm sure you're good as a beater. I'll be going for keeper. As long as you stay out of my way, you'll be just fine"-McClaggen

"Keeper? Don't you think you've got more of a beaters build"-Ron asked.

Eh maybe. But I prefer being the center of attention. The crowd goes wild"-McClaggen

"Well, that's an understatement"-Ginny

"I would do even better as a seeker. But we all know that Harry and Y/N would never let anyone take their position"-McClaggen

"Are you implying that we don't deserve our spots?"-Y/N

"You might, but Harry I'm not sure. Either way, I think it's only fair that you both try out"-McClaggen

"Fine, but only after you all do your tryouts first"-Y/N

"Hello everyone"-Harry says finally showing up.

Everyone continued shouting at one another and murmuring.

"Guys please if everyone could be quiet so we can start our basic defenses"-Harry

"HEY SHUT IT"-You and Ginny shouted.

You and Ginny both looked at each other.

"Thanks, so what is this rubbish I heard that McClaggen wants us to do? You think you can do better than the rest of the team. Someone who's never been on a team before or went against other teams?"-Harry
