The following week nagulat si Gwen kung sino ang nasa doorstep nya. Ang mga sisters ni Cholo na sina Rachell and Angel.

"Hi Gwen!"

Bumeso agad sa kanya ang dalawang babae.

"Can we come in?" Angel asked.

Kahit nagtataka sya why the 2 girls came, niluwagan niya ang pinto para makapasok sa bahay niya.

"Who's living here with you?" si Rachell.

"Nasa province ang family ko. I live here alone. Umuuwi ako pag may okasyon."

"Hindi sinabi sayo ni Cholo why were here?"

Umiling si Gwen.

"But he told you about the date right? Tonight yun. We're here to help you. Sabi kasi ni Kate kuripot ka pero ayaw mo magpalibre sabi ni baby bro." si Angel ule.

"Nakakahiya naman. Pati kayo naabala."

"Ano ka ba? Okay lang. Nagkataon lang na free kami. Saka friend ka naman ni Cholo so friends mo na rin kami."

"Akala nga namin nung una, you're one of his girls."

Todo ang iling nya. "Naku hindi. Friends lang kami."

"But what if lang? Alam mo na malakas ang girl instinct." natawa si Rachell. " Aminin mo, you like our brother right?"

Namula ang buong mukha niya. Nagtawanan naman ang dalawang babae.

"The face says it all. Hindi ka marunong magsinungaling girl!"

"Buti na lang dense si brother!"

Napakamot ulo si Gwen. Pakiramdam niya nasa hot seat sya.

"Actually, little Katie told us about the plan." kumindat pa si Rachell.

Oh no, so mga accomplices pa sila?

"Yes, you heard it right."

"Dont worry hindi ka namin ibubuking kay brother." Angel winked.

"Let's get started then."

They raided her closet. Mix and match her clothes and started doing her hair and make up.

Sakto lang right after they did their magic, dumating ang sundo niya. She looked at her reflection and she's really pleased with the results. Para silang fairy godmother.

"You look beautiful girl!"

"Mabibighani nyan si brother dear! Este yung kadate mo pala."

Nag high five pa ang dalawa. "So were done here. Enjoy the night dear!"

"If this will work tonight, ililibre ko talaga kayo."

"Woah! coming from a stingy person like you, that's certainly a deal!"

" Oo nga. Narecord ko yun." si Angel.

Pagkalabas nila sa kwarto ni Gwen, inabutan nila si Cholo with another guy.

"I let them in while you were busy." sabi ni Rachell.

"Good job Ate Rachell and Angel!" si Cholo.

"Kate asked for our expertise."

"By the way, this is Robert. Robert, this is Gwen."

"Pleased to meet you, Gwen." he offered his hand.

Tinanggap naman ni Gwen ang kamay nito. The guy looked nice but he doesn't look as good as Cholo.

"Close kami nitong si Robert since high school. He's one of our top students. Laging next to him lang ang ranking ko e."

"Ikaw talaga Cholo, parati mo na lang ako binibuild up."

"Syempre naman bro. You owe me one." naghigh five pa ang dalawa.

"Yeah, I owe you one." saka bumaling kay Gwen. " Shall we go?"

Tumango sya. Sila Angel and Rachell ay bumeso na sa kanya.

"We better get going too. Enjoy the night." kumindat pa si Cholo sa kanya na sinagot nya ng ngiti.

Robert brought her to a fine dining restaurant. Mukhang okay naman si Robert. Mabait, business man, sustentado ang parents at matalino. But he seems really serious at maaring hindi sila magclick nito.

Nararamdaman din kaya ng lalaking ito na wala silang spark?

"Gwen, ikaw naman magkwento. Although marami na rin nakwento saken si Cholo about you. He's right. Ang ganda mo nga talaga."

Sinabi ba talaga ni Cholo yun? Parang gusto niyang kiligin.

"Walang masyadong interesante sakin. I'm no fun to be with. Medyo mas napaprioritize ko ang work more than relationship kaya siguro pinagpalit ako ng ex ko sa iba."

"Really? Now we have something in common. Ako din iniwan ng ex ko because I was too busy with business."

Gumaan ang loob nya sa lalaki. Nagkaroon sya ng pagnanais na palakasin ang loob nito. Shue held his hand to comfort him.

"Okay lang yan. You'll find the right one for you in due time."

"Hindi ka lang maganda, ang bait mo pa. Tanga talaga yun ex mo for letting you go."

Nagkatawanan sila. And its decided na they'll be friends. They like each other but not in a romantic way.

Hinatid sya ni Robert pauwi. "Cholo might get disappointed that things didn't go as planned or not?"

Nahiwagaan naman si Gwen sa sinabi ni Robert. Gusto nyang itanong ang ibig nitong sabihin pero dinaan na lang nya sa ngiti. "Thanks for the night Robert. Don't tell Cholo what we have agreed para hindi sya madisappoint." she winked at him.

Tumango ito at niyakap si Gwen. "If there's a need to pretend kaya ko yung gawin for you. He's actually spying on us now." bulong ni Robert.

Natawa tuloy siya. "What do you suppose to mean?"

"I mean you like him and he's too dense to realize it."

"Ganun na ba talaga ako kaobvious?"

"Well, we keep talking about him. And I can see how your face lights up whenever we get a chance to talk about him."

She's speechless. Parang inspector pala itong kasama nya.

"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." he touched her cheeks and tangkang ilalapit ang mukha when Cholo get into the picture.
