The three of us rush out of school as fast as we could and piled into Anna's car. Anna squealed in excitement as we drove off.

"I can't believe it! He actually came up to me and asked me if was coming to the party. AND told me "see you tonight then" Arghhh!"

"Yea Anna, we heard, we were there remember?" I said rolling my eyes.

Finally, Kevin was able to free himself from Sydney's iron grip and came over to Anna's locker to speak to her. Anna was over the moon. I was happy for her, her, and Stacy, both of their crushes are coming to the party, and wanted to see them that night.

"Omg, what are we gonna wear?" Asked Stacy panicked

"I am thinking of wearing my cute blacktop. You know the one that's long in the back and short in front. it has a cute flower on the waist."

"Oooh, that will be pretty. you should wear it with your leather boots." if there is anyone who knows how to style black, it's me alright. I might not wear it, but I know to style.

"And you should curl your hair and tie a half ponytail" I added,

"Ok, what about me?"

"Well considering the fact that you are trying to impress a nerd you should wear something white. "

"Hey, don't bug her yet Anna,  I think you should wear your white silk shirt with a black short skirt and leggings. Maybe wear a hat if you want? oh, and you should wear your velvet ankle boots."

"Thanks, Sasha. You are really good at this, maybe you should do fashion designing."

"Yeah maybe, can we get a coffee before going home? I need to e-mail my essays today."

*************

After a quick stop at the coffee shop, Anna dropped me off at home and told me to be ready by 6. which meant I had two hours to mail my essays and chose an outfit to wear.

Sighing I check the time, I had about 50 mins to get ready. I had sent e-mails to Princeton, Berkley, UCLA, and Harvard. I was happy with the essays, fingers crossed I would get accepted.

I stared into the closet not knowing what to wear. After about 15 minutes of taking clothes out trying them on and throwing them on my bed, I gave up. I couldn't fit into more than half of my clothes. I decided to call Anna and tell her that I will not be coming to the party. That is when I saw it, my favorite white dress. The dress I bought last summer but never got to wear. I wanted to lose a bit of weight before wearing it because the torso of the dress was fitting. When I wore it although I loved it, it looked like a ton of cotton had been stuffed into a small pretty sack. My boobs were jutting out, my tummy trying to burst open the dress. I had lost a little bit of fat around my waist so I thought of giving it a try.

I put it on and looked in the mirror. Finally, it fits, it fitted me like a glove. It hugged my curves perfectly in all the right places. Just kidding, this is no fairy tale. I was fat. Period. it looked like I was trying to wear a toddler's dress. I was just exhausted. But I couldn't get myself to tell Anna and Stacy I wasn't coming. To be honest, for the first time I wanted to go to a party. I was sick and tired of not being invited to anything and being left out all the time. So, I wore my light blue jean and my white lace dress shirt. I finally decided to wear the make-up I had gotten for my birthday from my aunt.  It was just eyeliner and a pale peach gloss. I finished off the look with a pair of white lace pumps, a side pouch and I let down my hair and accessorized it with a pearl hairband.  I looked in the mirror and gave myself a nod of approval.
