Chapter 9 - Fat Sasha

My head whips up as someone very aggressively grabs my hand and pulls me off the chair. I see a red-faced, angry Sophia glaring at me. It looked as though Satan had possessed her.

 "How dare you!" She shrieked.

But, before I could say anything or even pull my hand from her grasp, she slaps me. It hurt. It hurt really bad. I was lost for words. Tears ran down my cheek. Everyone at the party stopped doing what they were doing and was staring at us. The people who were inside the house were now pushing their way out onto the porch and the front yard. a couple of people had their phones out recording it. Jacob took my hand and her hand and pulled them apart. My wrist and cheek were burning.

"How dare you!" She yelled at me,

I look at her confused. What is she talking about?

"How dare you talk to Jacob! After everything, you've done?!"

"What? I didn't do anything?" I mumbled,

"Didn't do anything? Yeah, right. It's because of you that Jacob broke up with me!

You broke us up! All these years I was nice to you and all you could do is break us up! Seriously Jay, what do you see in her? What does SHE have that I don't? What CAN she do? She is a worthless, talentless, hideous sack of fat! She is only trying to get you because you are popular. Don't you see? She is using you! She is a disgrace, a failure unlike you or me. LOOK at HER!"

Sophia's words rang through my ears. All my insecurities being brought out. What do you mean by I broke them up, we hadn't even spoken before. I stood there dumbfounded. I wished the ground would just open up and swallow me.

"Sophia stop it!" Jacob shouted back,

"The reason I broke up with you was that you are self-absorbed and selfish. It's sickening to be with you. You are toxic!"

"No! You broke up with me because of her! I know it. You can't lie to me. YOU chose fat Sasha over ME!" Sophia shrieked.

there were soft scoffs from the crowd around us. I couldn't take it anymore. I was humiliated for something I didn't do. Today was the first time spoke to Jacob. I bowed my head in embarrassment and rushed through the crowd out of the front yard to where Anna had parked her car. On my way, more people sneered and laughed at me. 

"Sasha!" I heard Jacob yell, I ignored them and just left.

"Yeah keep walking Fat Sasha!" Yelled Sydney and Felicity before roaring with laughter.

Anna, Stacy, Axel, and Sean were already in the car waiting for me. I hugged Anna and Stacy and burst out crying. We drove to the nearest McDonalds ordered Coke and fries and all five of us sat in the car, while we ate in silence.

"So, why did Sophia accuse of breaking Jacob and her up?" Axel asked breaking the silence.

"I don't know," I sniffled "Today was the first time I spoke to him, ever since we came to high school I never had a single class with him."

"She is mental! That's all," Anna said angrily,  "Jacob broke up with her and she doesn't want to accept her mistakes so, she is blaming Sasha."

I was so tired, I couldn't think anymore. After finishing the fries and coke Anna dropped me off at my house. I went straight upstairs, took a long warm water shower and went to bed.
