Fast forward to my senior year of high school. Nothing has changed. The only difference is that my best friend, Sera, who truly understood everything I was going through moved to another country which is literally on the other side of the world. My best friend for 13 years, Nadine, left school and lives a couple of hours away from me. I was left with no one. Until I met Anna in my sophomore year and Stacy in senior year. I am about to leave school and nothing has changed for me. I feel bad to keep bugging my friend Faith, for everything although she is very kind and is the definition of perfection.

This is what I think every morning lying in bed: "Everybody is going to move on and I am going to be left behind all alone"

"What should I do?" lost in my thoughts trying to find my answers. What is going to happen after school? I could have found the answer If my mother hadn't barged in and yelled at the top of her voice "SASHA WAKE UP!!" She can clearly see my eyes are open right? I mean my bed is right in front of the door. And I starring at the ceiling. Does she think that I sleep with my eyes open? "Mom I am up! You know that right"

"Lying in bed doesn't count as being "up", if you are up, get up and get dressed. I don't have time for your nonsense, I am getting late"

"I don't have time for your nonsense," she said. Why didn't she tell the truth? That she doesn't have time for me?"

"Mom, if you are getting late can leave you, know"

"Who is gonna drive you to school?" she said, before storming out.

"Anna? Like she does every single day?"

Urghhhhh... adults. I get off the bed and start getting ready. 15 minutes later, I hear Anna honking. I put my head out of my bedroom window and yelled "I'll be down in a sec"

"Hurry!" she yelled back.

I run downstairs and grab my lunch, my bottle of water and run out of the house with my backpack hanging off of my right shoulder and one of my sneakers in one hand. Stacy pulled out her phone and clicked a picture of me running before opening the door to Anna's convertible. "Guys you are supposed to help me"

"Sure," said Stacy laughing and taking my lunch and backpack from my hand.

"Ooh French fries and devilled chicken sandwiches for lunch"

"Your mom is an amazing cook, she should stop teaching start-up her restaurant" Anna piped in.

"Yeah the two of us would be there every day, my mom doesn't know to cook"

"Your mom makes good food, bro," I said struggling to wear my sneakers without putting my leg up on Anna's new car seat.

Although school starts at 8 and we live only 20 minutes away, we always leave home by 7. And this is because the three of us are coffee addicts. We leave home early to get coffee from this little coffee shop called "The Coffee Shop" which is on our way to school. We don't really have to go that early but we just like to get our coffee and sit there for a while.

So, this is what we did today too. We stopped at the coffee shop and bought three coffees and chicken rolls and then went to a corner and sat down. This place is usually empty. Maximum of 6 people in the shop at peak times like in the evening. How do I know? I always come here to study or just to have their coffee and their fabulous éclair. The reason why we love this place is that the popular crowd doesn't usually hang here. There is a fancier coffee shop for them which is pretty expensive for us. Although Anna is pretty rich she hates wasting money. "Why should I pay more money for a cup of coffee which is not that good" "I care about quality not brand" she would say. We also like peace and quiet which we get here. "So, anything interesting?" I asked taking a bite from the roll.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot! You know that cute guy I showed you from Instagram?" Said Anna, excited

"Yeah... what about him," Stacy asked totally uninterested,

"He has moved to Florida and will be coming to our school!!"

"Yay"

"Stacy, you are so mean. You aren't being a supportive friend"

"I am! Trust me. I promise I will buy you your wedding dress and start the wedding planning tomorrow. Sasha, will you help me?"

"Stacy! I didn't mean it like that"

"Wait a minute! Didn't you say you were getting married to Zach Herron?" gasped Stacy dramatically

"Dude, I am not getting married to anyone but him"

I couldn't stop controlling my laughter. I love it when Anna and Stacy start arguing like this because they remind me of an old married couple. Did I mention that Anna and I became friends while fangirling over Why Don't We? Well, we did. She has even saved my phone number as "Future Mrs. Seavey"

"All you know to do is sit and laugh, Sasha," said Anna clearly annoyed

"What? It's true. You can't leave Zach for some random guy called Kevin? What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Haha! Sasha. Nice!"

"Guys we got to go, we can't get late. After all, Kevin might be coming right?"
