Here i sing a little lullaby,
Rock you to sleep, as the wind breeze said hi,
Promise i'll help you chase the nightmares away,
I'll be by your side,
I'll hold your hand tight~

Kakyoin sat along the window sill that was located just below the foot of (Y/N)'s bed. Having no physical body that needed sleep, he opted to just sit beside the little window that overseeing a world that devoid of the sun's treasures, gazing across the little square presenting the dimly lit street, where one or two cars, stray animals, or rarely a passerby walking along way past curfew hours would discreetly break his solemn view of the perfectly still and silent night. Often he found himself shrugging his shoulders for he really don't care what those people are doing, it was not his business anyway.
The night life, oblivious to the semi-transparent entity gazing at anything he found interesting - which in fact only a few can see the undead red-haired teen anyway, so the possibility for some people reporting a break in in the (L/N) household is out of the problem. The room he was inside mirroring the world outside the window, counting out the steady and slow movements of the blankets going up and down in a balanced rhythm, for just a few meters away from him, a (h/c) girl is resting, peacefully asleep, and away to a dreamland, a world only the living have been privileged. Kakyoin's lavender eyes momentarily broke of his staring contest with the streets and gazed towards the little lump of human between the sheets and on the bed. With the effects of afterglow from eating a hefty meal bypassed him, the realization of the anomaly of a boy and a girl, more so than a ghost and a human in one room finally has been processed inside him, Kakyoin with his gentlemanly ethics got once again red in the face, for (Y/N)'s preposition of them staying in one room. Snapping his hands as to slap the bashfulness away, looking once again to the sleeping figure, he abruptly lessen the force and 'slapped' his face with a very low sound of 'smack' as to not awaken the owner of the house.
With their current predicament, both sides actually have their own pros.
For (Y/N), a company of another(not so living) person helps to lessen the loneliness she had always felt and fear of security with her being all alone in her little home. Kakyoin might be a ghost and may not stop the burglar, alerting her would be truly enough, and she have that spark of trust for the teen that he would find ways to protect her either way, even if she knew she can keep herself safe. Mainly, its all just o have someone with her though.
For Kakyoin, the worry of the ominous feeling attacking them - (Y/N), made him alert, and being able to watch over her and for the danger is practical and safer for both of them. For some reasons, attacks behind backs are an occurrance that seemed normal..? for him? And he doesn't really know why either way.
'Have I died form such an attack I wonder?'
As soft snores from the girl graced his ears, he found himself involuntarily smiling.
'Not so loud, more like breathing softly I say'
Such sounds for him was something that embodies one of the pleasures of being alive, a momentary break from all the problems, an escape to a wonderland you can control, where all smiles, and fun. Squeezing his memory box of such experience, he found himself drawing to a blank, tight lipped, he resumed gazing across.
