ch. 5 | battle on!

"right, midoriya-san, would you like us to explain our quirks to you?" yaoyorozu asks, there was only 5 minutes left to make a plan and most teams had already finished and was just getting ready.

"no need,.." midoriya shakes his head with a smile. "i know your quirks already. your's yaoyorozu is create, you can make non-living things from the lipids in your body, you're iida and your quirk is engine, you have engines in your calves. and your todoroki, you have ice powers on your right and fire on your left, yet you refuse to use the fire side, right?" deku blabs. 

"that's impressive midoriya." iida compliments, making izuku smile a bit.

"how did you..get that information?" todoroki asks, deku can see his face is displeasing but is doing his best to hide it. "ah..well i over hear hero course conversations so there i guess..?" deku says, more of a question than an answer but they take it.

"right. todoroki, i actually paired up with you guys because i think you'd benefit out of this more." deku pulls out the quirk enhancer, its the size of a penny, maybe a bit bigger. "could you please put this on? the spikes on it attaches to your skin so it might sting a little at first..on your arm would be fine."

"alright." shoto complies with a little hesitation, the sting was nothing but it was now attached to him.

"oh! right, i wanted to pair with kacchan for the enhancer..but he already found a team, so here, i made backup ice and fire proof spray so you wont hurt any of us when you use your quirk!" midoriya beams, tossing a bottle to the three of them.

"this is..incredible midoriya-san." yaoyorozu comments, finishing putting the spray around herself.

"indeed, the feats you have done are truly stunning!" iida adds, making izuku flash a big smile.

"todoroki, im assuming you'll be the rider? i can be in front, iida on the right and yaoyorozu on the left if thats okay with everyone?" deku asks, they all nod in response. the team finishes gearing up and see their opponents. 

team 1 = todoroki, midoriya, yaoyorozu, iida

team 2 = bakugo,  sero, kaminari, kirishima, 

team 3 = uraraka, tokoyami, hatsume, asui

team 4 = kendo, shiozaki, komori, shishida

team 5 = monoma, tetsutetsu, tsuburaba

team 6 = shinso, bondo, kuroiro

"if all teams are ready..GO!!!"

and before midoriya knew it they were rushes by team 4 and 3, "QUICKLY! IIDA! YAOYOROZU! STOMP YOUR FEET TWICE! THE JETS WILL TURN ON!" deku screamed, the two, including him, quickly activated the jets on the pop out boots and flew up before kendo could grab todoroki's head band.

asui tried to take the head band with her tongue, dark shadow tried to take it too, and shiozaki's vine hair added to the attack. izuku quickly grabbed his pruning sheers and cut shiozaki's vines in one swift movement, "YAOYOROZU! IIDA! SHIELDS UP!" izuku commanded, asui's tongue and dark shadow hitting the metal rather than todoroki's headband.

izuku made the shields a one way mirror type, so they were able to see but others couldnt.

"this is far beyond my expectations midoriya!" iida praised, yaoyorozu let out a smile.

"my vines..may hell be a suitable place for your actions." shiozaki cries a single tear, kendo tells her team to retreat and go get other headbands instead.

"darn! we were almost there!" uraraka whines, "well, they have blocked their view, could we surprise attack them?" tokoyami asks, dark shadow scouting out for any teams getting near them.

"they didnt block their view." hatsume mumbles, "what was that? kero." tsu ribbits, looking over to her left where hatsume stood.

"DANG IT IZU!!! I SHOULDVE NEVER LET YOU BORROW MY TWO WAY MIRROR BLUE PRINTS" mei huffs, "his shields, are two way mirrors." 

"oh, then lets leave this spot, we can try getting a headband from another team." tokoyami suggests, everyone agrees and they all run.

"lets land over there!" midoriya eyes, there was barely anyone there but team 5. they all mentally agree and land, closing their shields. 

"oi oi! your the 10 million point team!" monoma cackles, reaching his hand out to todoroki's handband. "TODOROKI! DUCK! IIDA, YAOYOROZU! GET YOUR SHIELDS OU-" deku starts to yell, hoisting his hands in an x to protect the headband from getting stolen.

"got it! lets see what iq quirk you have." monoma smirks to himself, trying to activate whatever power he though midoriya had. team 1 stood there dumbfounded, they though midoriya had a quirk.

"monoma-kun! i dont think he has a quirk. hes the kid that got in without one!" tsubaraba stopped monoma from trying.

"todoroki! the enhacner! try letting out a small spike of ice to freeze them!" midoriya whispers, seeing team 5 had gone down in shambles.

"but dont make it too strong because i set the setting to 5 which-!" midoriya get interrupted by the whole stadium getting frozen, todoroki had accidentally forgot about the enhancer and thought he had to make the spike big enough to trap all of them.

"t-t-the ehancer w-w-worked.." iida shuddered from the coldness, he let out a gasp at how he was actually able to make one, momo made a blanket for herself, shocked at the general course kid. "mhm!" midoriya replied, not fazed. his sports outfit was made by him too, and protected him from heat and ice.

the whole building was covered in ice, and even endeavor had frozen. "SHOTOOOOOOOOOO"

todoroki winced, seeing only his team was able to move, it must've been the boots midoriya had made and the spray.

"t-t-todoroki please d-defrost t-the sta-stadium.." midnight was freezing cold and asked before everyone had gotten frostbite. todoroki let out a little flame but ended up roasting the stadium too.

"t-t-that nerd!..RUN AFTER THEM YOU I-IDIOTS KAMINARI ELECTROCUTE THEM!!" bakugo yelled, clenching his fists at the coldness.

"their after us midoriya san! what do we do? they'll electrocute us if we dont move but we might burn anywhere we go?!" yaoyorozu looses her cool for a sec, todoroki stays silent. 

"stay."

"but midoriya!"

"patience iida."

bakugo's team charges toward's todoroki's, midoriya pulls out the gun loaded with 5 blanket bullets.

"2 MILLION VOLTS!!!" kaminari raises his hands up, "YOU IDIOT! DONT-" sero tried to retaliate, but had failed and kaminari's electricity was already being brought out.

[BANG]

everyone had been hit, not fatally but enough to put a shock, except for todoroki's team. deku's blanket had saved them from being electrocuted as it covered them, deku was face to face with the team but the blanket had covered that.

the blanket had fallen, showing the team perfectly fine..
