bakugo's team looked stunned, izuku was about to command his team to leave the area but the buzzer had gone off, indicating the cavalry battle was over.

"done!! and in first place we have team todoroki! in second team bakugo!! third is team uraraka! and last is..TEAM 6!!! 

we will now hav our interval of games and lunch before our final duels!! enjoy your food everyone!" mic yelled from the control room.

todoroki quickly got off the 3 and iida and yaoyorozu started to discuss the match, bowing a thanks and leaving for lunch.

midoriya realizes the two didnt see todoroki's sad face but he definitely did. todoroki stood still looking at his left hand. 

was it because of the enhancer..? WAIT-! i still need it back! midoriya thought to himself, and reached out his hand in front of todoroki. "u-uh..the enhancer todoroki, i need it back." 

"here." todoroki said dryly, and ripped the enhancer from his arm, returning it to its rightful owner. todoroki started to walk away but midoriya stopped him by grabbing his shoulder.

"hey-" he started, but got interupted by hatsume and shinso, "congrats! ugh. i cant believe you used the shields with my blue prints!" mei dramatically fake fainted on shinso's shoulder, needing him to catch her. "mei?!" izuku shrieked.

shinso holds her shoulder to hold her slantingly up, "yea. i didnt know that the enhancer worked that well. congrats zuzu, i'll see you at the cafeteria." shinso sighs and drags mei away while he nodded.

"sorry..but anyways! i saw you were looking a little sad..is there a problem? we won after all.." deku rubs his arm.

todoroki saw the flood of students into the stadium to play games so that they can entertain the heroes and people watching.

"lets go somewhere private, midoriya." todoroki harshly pulls midoriya with him to an alley.

"hey! hey! let go!! i can walk ya know?" deku retaliates but is too weak compared to todoroki who had been trained for years.

todoroki had explained his whole sob story to midoriya, from his rough childhood training to how he swore he would never use his left side. he got mad at midoriya for making him break that promise and swore to defeat the greenette without that fire side.

todoroki left without much of a physical fight but his looks would kill.

izuku took a deep sigh and looked at his enhancer, maybe i should just break this..

bakugo appeared from the corner of the school's alley and scrunched up his face.

"you." he said with venom, if words could kill deku would be dead. izuku tensed up at the voice, but quickly changed to a face of displeasure. "kacchan." deku looked at the floor, not wanting to face the blonde.

"how did you know that sparky's name, actually- how the fuck did you even get here?" bakugo asked, stepping in front of the blonde where todoroki initially was. "thats none of your business, can i go now?" deku rushed, he didnt want another second to be here.

katsuki grew silent and izuku started to walk away, but bakugo caught his arm, and surprisingly..pulled him in for a hug which deku tensed up once more at.

"k-kaccha-"

"i thought i'd never see you again. all the kids at our school thought you had..killed yourself..after you dropped out." bakugo hugged tighter, to which deku relaxed a bit more and hugged back.

bakugo soon let go and asked, "why.. why did you stop trying to be a hero? you wanted to become one so badly shitty deku." 

izuku chuckles at the use of 'shitty deku'. "you said so yourself, i'll never become a hero if i dont have a quirk. well..im hungry, we can talk after the festival again, okay kacchan? you looking sad doesnt suit you." izuku let out a toothy grin, leaving bakugo to his thoughts.

little did they know, someone was listening to their conversation.

"shinso! mei!" izuku smiled, sitting down with his friends.

"took you long enough." shinso playfully bullied his friend. "NOW IZU WE WILL DISCUSS MY BLUE PRINTS!" mei yelled in between bites of her food.

"eh?! how about my grapple hook ones!" izuku fought back, he hadnt even started on his pork cutlet. todoroki had walked by going to his table and intentionally hit his elbow on midoriya's head.

"hey-!" midoriya shut his eyes but quickly opened them and looked around for the elbow that had hit him on the face, he saw todoroki walk behind him to a table and sit down, he let out a sigh.

"whos that? and are you okay izu?" mei asks sincerely, tilting her head. "his name is shoto todoroki, hero course..i uh..teamed with him for the cavalry battle if you remember." izuku rubs his ball of hair.

"oh yeah. why is mr. ice prince mad at you?" shinso takes a bit out of his takoyaki. "i..dont know." izuku lies, he knows it better to keep the information he was given hidden.

"okay." shinso replies, eating another takoyaki ball while deku sinks in his seat.

"soooo your okay right? i'm fighting against engine guy, how can i get him to wear my babies so midnight can allow it? those support companies are mine!" mei glimmers, shinso and midoriya look ay each other and chuckle.
