Michael's adventure

Part 24

The sun began to rise, nature stirring to life. Tubbo made his way to Techno's through the railway.

Tubbo walked into the house, to see no one. He began to quietly creep around the house, looking for them. He walked into Techno's room, slowly opening the door to prevent it from creaking.

He saw Techno awake on a chair reading stories aloud to Michael who was dead asleep. Tubbo's heart filled with warmth. Techno looked up at Tubbo. He jerked his head towards the door, saying let's go outside without words. Techno and Tubbo walked out into the kitchen. Techno brewed some tea while Tubbo sat at the table.

Tubbo gracefully accepted the tea, not making eye contact with Techno. He seemed to be deeply interested in the bottom of his mug. Techo clearly took notice "Tubbo, you ok?". Tubbo continued to look down. Shyly, Tubbo spoke out "He didn't come home last night.". Tubbo was clearly filled with worry and sadness, Ranboo always comes home after his Enderwalk state. Techno's eyes lit up in surprise "But that's not like him". Tubbo just sat in silence. Techno and Tubbo quickly became entranced in thoughts as someone they love has gone missing.

After a little while of silence, a groggy Michael comes out of his room. Techno and Tubbo turn to him, wide-eyed, clearly worried about his well-being. Tubbo got up and hugged him, just thankful that he wasn't hurt. Michael melts into the hug, he needs it. Tubbo eventually let go and they both sat down at the table. Techno handed Michael his cup of tea, and they sat there in complete silence until Michael decided to speak up. "What happened to dad?".
