Michael's adventure

Part 43

Michael let out a deep breath and sat back down. Techno walked up to him, "It is up to you Michael". "I am going to save my dad, Dream is gonna pay". Techno lets out a chuckle, "You and I are more alike than you think". Michael sat back down, finishing his tea.

Once he finished his tea, he got up from the table and made his way to the door. "Where are you going?", Michael turned around "To Ranboo's house, I might be back before sunset, or I will sleep there, I'm not sure". Michael turned around and made his way to his father's house. The houses were practically right next to each other so it didn't take long for him to get there.

The front door creaked open to reveal an eerily still home. The main floor appeared normal, so he made his way downstairs to the basement. He opened the door to the basement to reveal an absolute disaster.

There were books scattered all over the floor, pages were torn out and carelessly thrown about. Michael had an uneasy feeling.

He stepped in to investigate deeper. He crouched down and picked up one of the papers on the floor. The paper had random scribbles on it, a smile, all over, and short phrases written about. It had looked like someone went crazy and took it out on the paper.

He began to pick up some of the other papers off the floor, all of them having the same things written upon them. Things like "Just remember", "He is in control" "Dream is the reason" "I don't know" "He isn't real". Michael began to collect the papers.

He grabbed a broom to clean up all the papers, but while sweeping he noticed chunks of obsidian thrown about. Michael was genuinely confused. He swept up all the papers, collecting them into a pile, along with another pile of the obsidian.

He looked around, in every single chest, nothing out of the ordinary. He grabbed a lever, placed it where it needed to go, and flicked it, causing rocks to move, opening the vault.

Michael hastily walked into the vault, scanning everything to make sure nothing was out of place. Iron, diamond, emeralds, and gold were all missing. Michael looked to the right to check on Nicholas, Ranboo's pig. He noticed a chest out of place. He walked over to it, heart beating out of his chest, breaths heavy with anxiety.
