The second Michael saw the snow he jumped into it, the snow made a crunch beneath his feet. Michael had been outside before but never in the snow and definitely not for long periods. Michael quickly got up and looked to his dad's, "It's cold" Ranboo chuckles "Very cold, come here" he extended his arms out and Michael jumped into them.

The family began to walk over to the mainland. Before they could even reach a bridge, something yellow, in the sea of white snow, caught Michael's eye. He reached out for it, Ranboo put him down. Michael carefully approached and squatted in front of it "What is this? Can I touch it? Can I eat it?" Ranboo and Tubbo begin to laugh. Tubbo explained, "That is a Dandelion, it is a type of flower, it cannot hurt you, you can touch it, you can even pick it, but I don't recommend eating it." Michael looked up at Tubbo in awe. Ranboo crouched down and plucked the flower up from the ground and handed it to Michael. Michael's face lit up with excitement. "Smell it", Michael took a whiff. "Smells good, it's sweet" Ranboo nods in agreement. Ranboo pipes up "We should get going, we have a busy day ahead of us" reaching out to Michael. Michael grabs his hand, flowers in the other, and begins to skip.

They begin to cross the bridge connecting Snowchester to the mainland. A large black building comes into sight. Michael pulls on Ranboo's hand to get his attention. Ranboo looks down at him and points to the building, "Dad, what is that'' Ranboo stays quiet, his hands begin to sweat. Tubbo picks Michael up and begins to explain, "That is a prison, It holds the bad guys so they can't get us" "What kind of bad guys?" "Ones that hurt good people without good reason" Michael's face turned quickly into a sort of sad and worried look. "Don't worry Michael, the people that need to be in there, are" Michaels face no longer showed worry. Throughout the rest of the walk across the bridge, Michael stared curiously at the ocean underneath and asked numerous questions.
