Chapter 10

(Y/n POV)

Today, I'm gonna spend my day with Assistant-chan. Yesterday she said she needed to buy some things at the mall. I don't see anything wrong with it so I agreed. I took my car with me and went to the mall. I found a free parking space and so I parked there.

"Yahoo! Y/n-san! Over here!" Assistant-chan said, waving at me. I walked up to her and greeted.

"So, where are we going?" I asked her.

"I'm gonna buy something at the grocery!"

"Ah... I see. Well, let's go then?" I asked.

"Yup!"

Me and Assistant-chan went to the grocery as she put in the cart everything that she needed. I also took some as it's a waste to go here and not buy anything. We were now at the aisle full of candy, chocolate, and sweets as we saw... Nozomi and Eli?!

"Assistant-chan! Y/n-kun! Never thought you guys would be here!" nozomi said as we went near them.

"Nice to meet you too, Eli-san and Nozomi-san!" Assistant-chan said.

"Assistant-chan, didn't we have something to buy that only us could know?" Nozomi asked. I knew it! This is a trap.

"Yes!" Assistant-chan said as she and Nozomi hastily ran, leaving me and Eli alone.

"Hello, Eli..." I said, trying to make small talk.

"Hello, too." She said as she avoided my gaze and looked at the chocolates.

"I see you still love chocolate, brings me back..." I said.

"Yeah... It's something I can't let go of." She said.

"Oh, I remember back then. I'd buy you chocolate all the time to the point I don't have money left." I said, followed by a chuckle.

"I can pay it back, if you want." Eli said.

"No, the good memories we had together was enough." I said, making her blush.

~Flashback~

Classes ended but unfortunately Eli still had a lot of school work to do. We did plan on sleeping at my house for tonight... I'm excited about that. On the way back home, I saw the convenience store.

The convenience store is something I see often but not go to. But today, I plan on giving Eli a reward for her hard day's work. I went inside the store and looked for what I needed. I saw the part of the store filled with chocolates and took 2 chocolate bars.

I went to the counter and paid for the 2 chocolate bars. After that, I immediately went back home. I waited for Eli in my room and eventually she's here.

"You're late, Ayase-san." I said as I laughed.

"You know I had a lot of work to do..." She said as she sighed from exhaustion.

"I know, that's why I have a present for you." I grabbed my bag and took the 2 chocolate bars out of it. I saw Eli's expression turn into a happier one.

"Wow! Thank you, Y/n!" Eli said as she hugged me.

The two of us enjoyed a bar of chocolate together. It's these kinds of moments that get me. It may just be a very simple occurrence but as long as I see Eli happy, this is a special moment that should be remembered.

~Later that night~

I woke up in the middle of the night and felt the urge to pee. Eli was hugging me and was sleeping softly. I Maneuvered my way out of Eli's grasp. I was able to get out of her hold without waking her up. I stood up and-
