Early this afternoon Pope,JJ,John B,Kie,and I met up at the wreck. Let's just say the vibe was strange. I was glad to know John B was okay after last night but I felt uncomfortable with Kie and John B having conflict about Sarah.
"So you're living with Sarah Cameron?" Kie grabbed a tray off the counter with drinks and walked away.
"Look, the only reason i'm living there is because her dad bailed me out and plus Brinley's dating Rafe so what's the big deal?" He through his hand up towards me and walked away from the counter to sit with us.
"John B, leave me out of this. Rafe and I have nothing to do with you." I took a sip out of my cup.
"Look you promised. You said you weren't with her." Kie looked at him with a disappointed face.
"Bro, just own it. She got you." JJ stated and also took a sip of his drink.
"Look, if you wanna be with her that's fine. But i'm letting you know now that i'm not doing anything with Sarah." Kie stood her ground and made her words clear.
No matter what John B defended himself. We then went on to discuss our next game plan. Once we figured it out we headed to Battery Jasper.
As we headed to the van JJ caught up with me.
"Wait so you and Rafe are actually together together? Like full on macking?" He put his hands together making it look like as if they were kissing.
"Yes JJ. We are dating, full on macking if you will." I jumped in the van as he sat next to me.
"Just be careful okay? He's not a good person but if he makes you happy then so be it. I'm just looking out for you." He gave me a soft smile.
"We're in battery right here." Pope pointed at the map and we all looked out to the horizon.
"Over there?Guys that's not Tannyhill, that's a subdivision." JJ pointed.
"Tannyhill plantation was the entire island. It got sold into smaller pieces over time." John B explained to the group.
"No shit..." I looked out amongst the horizon and was honestly amazed by the view. Of course back home California was gorgeous but the OBX is another kind of view.
"That looks like an old stone wall to me!" JJ gave a big excited smile.
