—"GIVEN OUR RECENT INFLUX OF MONSTERS, the Sheriff and I have decided we need to take drastic action," Alaric announced to older kids of the school. "Please give him your full attention."
"Like Dr. Saltzman was saying, local girls, Dana Lilien and Sasha Stoteraux didn't come home last night." The Sheriff began while the students passed around a picture of her. "Dana sometimes skips town for a few days to party, but this is a first for Sasha."
"Thank you, Sheriff Donovan." Alaric stepped up to the podium again. "Now while the knife is away with Dorian and things are quiet on his end, it won't hurt to assume the worst. If Dana and Sasha..."
Faith looked around the room eventually catching someone's blue eyes. She noticed that it was the boy from before that she bumped into. He was already looking her way with that same stupid smirk.
Faith quickly looked away and felt heat rushing to her cheeks from thinking of how hot he looked when she wasn't extremely pissed at him. Don't get her wrong though she still hated him all the same.
"What were you looking at that's got you so flustered?"
Faith turned her head to see Lizzie staring at her. "What? I'm not! Nothing." She denied.
"Now, I'll need a few of you to volunteer to go to Mystic Falls High under the guise of an exchange program meant to improve relations between our school, which, unfortunately, is necessary, given recent events. Now, I give you permission to compel them, to gather materials for locator spells, because any information we can get will make all the difference." Alaric finished.
"Well," Lizzie started standing up and walking to the front. "I guess that I can set aside my differences with Dana for a day because that is what heroes do." Lizzie turned to face her father. "So... I volunteer as tribute." She sat back down.
"Really?" Faith muttered to her. Lizzie shrugged.
Kaleb stood up, "I'm in."
M.G. stood up after, "I'm in, too."
"I'd like to help." Hope volunteered.

"WHO ARE YOU, AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH Hope Mikaelson?" Alaric asked while he was training with Hope and Faith on the sidelines.
"I never got to go to a real school," Hope told him.
"We've." Faith corrected.
"I've always wanted to know what it's like to be normal for a day instead of being a tri-loner who just hangs around her sister." Hope finished.
Faith scoffed, "You say it like it's a bad thing." She muttered referring to the part about her.
"Yeah, well, that's a bed you made for yourself," Alaric said.
"Not looking for a social lecture," Hope stated annoyed. "So, what's your plan with Landon?"
"That is also something I would like to know," Faith said.
"Does he, like, go here now?" Hope asked.
"Why? Still thinking about murdering him?" Alaric questioned sarcastically quickly glancing at Faith who rolled her eyes.
"Try killing someone one time and it sticks with you," Faith mumbled.
" 'Cause there's a knife that sat dormant for centuries that started attracting mythical creatures the day he took possession of it," Alaric said. "I'd say there's a lot we need to learn about him." Hope put Alaric in a chokehold using the bow staff.
