The next day Riley woke with a smile on her face, but it turned into a frown realizing her husband wasn't in the bed with her.
Today was her nineteenth birthday. Yeah, she was still in her teen years but older and felt like it. She was a Donna, wife, and mother which made her feel older.
But she liked it.
With a sigh, she got off the bed, and went right into the shower. Once she was done, she went to look in the mirror as she always did and found a sticky note that made her smile.
HAPPY NINETEENTH BIRTHDAY MEINE KÖNIGIN! I know you are mad that I wasn't there when you woke and I'm sorry Babygirl. Duty calls it sucks I know. Anyhow Xavier and Xylia are with our parents... Go into the closet I have a dress there for you and be ready at four. I know you Ri it takes forever for you to get ready so start around two that should give you enough time to do your makeup and other things. X wasn't a big romantic or anything, but he tried when it counts and always stepped up with things like this just for her.

X laughed at the whining man. Tonight, he wanted Leon to escort Riley to his Opa's restaurant—well Elijah's since it was given to him for completing culinary school.
It was one of Riley's favorite places to eat and he made sure that Elijah was there to cook. Especially since she also loved Elijah's cooking like he couldn't do the exact same.
Yeah, he hated to ask because Riah just had the baby three days ago.
