A few weeks later, Xerxes decided to surprise Riley.

X remembered before they when on vacation, she mentioned that they didn't get to celebrate their anniversary, and with all the shit going on, hell, he had forgotten.

Plus, it wasn't like he could doing anything sitting up in a hospital bed for a month and a half.

"Adriel, I know we left the babies with our parents, but it doesn't seem right when we're going to be gone for a full weekend. Still, you haven't told me where we are going and why," Riley said, sitting in his lap as he kissed the side of her face.

"It's a surprise, Babygirl. We've been threat-free for almost a year, and I want to celebrate with only my wife. Is that bad?"

"Babies. I know, and you also know that my Mama, Dad, or ours won't let a damn thing happen to them. They can take care of the twins, quints, and their babies with the help of the nannies," Xerxes said, still in disbelief after months that his mom and Paris had another damn baby after all this time.

"Having another baby," Riley said. X stared at her. He never thought about it that way, maybe because he didn't care.

That was a question she needed to ask AJ or maybe Kamaria.

"I really don't give a fuck. Was I expecting my mom to have another baby at fifty-something years old? No, but I'm not mad. You are?"

"Lowkey, I was upset. I don't know why but Peyton was supposed to be their last child. Then at forty-nine, my Ma popped up pregnant, having a baby a year after the quints. Our children are older than their aunt and uncle. What kind of shit is that?"

"Life Babygirl. That is just life for you. It's not always how we like it. I'm sure that all of our children will understand. We did. Look at Atlas. He's three years younger than me, and he's my uncle. Same with Raine, who is young than Talia, Josie, Maddy, Tyler, the twins, and Lucas. Sophia was too. We all dealt with it."

Xerxes said, making Riley nod her head as the pilot spoke over the intercom announcing they we about the land. Fifteen minutes late, they were on the ground walking off the jet.

"There is snow everywhere. Adriel, where are we?"

"We left one cold place to come to another?"

"Riley, stop whining. I promise you will love it," Xerxes said as he walked them to the awaiting car. She sighed as he opened the door, letting her climb in first, then him.

"What is this about?" Xerxes ignored her as he watched his babies play through the nanny cams back home.

He knew it was making her mad, so he handed her the phone as making coo over the babies playing with one another until they pulled to their destination.
