"Mom, don't make me cry right now. Please," My'esha said, fanning her face as Talia and Mariah helped her in the dress.
Today was the wedding, and she was in the room with all the women while she stood on the stool.
She was done with her makeup and everything, and now she just needed to put on her heels.
"I'm sorry, Renee, it's just you're growing up. My little baby ain't so little anymore." Tasha said, making Paris and Adele shake their heads, sighing.
They knew exactly how she was feeling.
"I want you always to stand by and protect your husband, especially when he's down. That's what you, as a woman and as his wife, are supposed to. You both will honor and cherish each other while you both compromise and help each other out. You hea' me child?" Tasha said, making her nod.
"Now. Come on and put on the heels," She said, making her smile again.
"You're really getting married, Esha. I can't believe it." Junie said, making her chuckle.
"I can't believe it's been six years," Bre'sha shook her head.
"Yeah, me neither." My'esha shook her head.

"Leon, how you're feeling?" Xerxes asked him as Leon sat in the chair.
"I feel—I don't know. It's a good feeling, though. I'm finally marrying the love of my life." Leon said, trying his hardest not to smile.
"That's how you are supposed to feel. When I married Josie, I couldn't describe it." RJ said, and the others agreed.
"Not you doing that sappy ass shit," TJ said, making Dion and Leon chuckle.
"I'm just kidding, bro. I'm happy for you. You're doing something long overdue. I knew every since you laid eyes on My'esha in that classroom, it was over. Specially when yall was doing that debating. She was yours from there."
"Swear. Berkeley asked those crazy-ass debating questions, and you two won every damn one. Except for—"
"Shut the fuck up," Leon cut of Dion while he smirked.
"Do tell," Caleb said, making everyone smack their teeth.
"Let's just say one of Leon's whores got they shit cracked for talking about My'esha. That girl is quiet, but her hands ain't," TJ chuckled.
"So that's where she got that assault and battery charge from," Vince said, making Leon nod his head with a chuckle.
"Alright. Take that shit off so we can get started," Luca said, making Leon look at him confused.
