Around a month later, everyone was still walking on eggshells. Rylee was still in solitary confinement also with her children.
Xerxes had their house torn apart to find small details of them turning against the family. Gen and Vince made sure to be there to help sweep their home.
After a full month of searching, they came up with nothing.
It gave X and Riley some relief, but both were upset that Jaxon turned on them for nothing, and the back of Xerxes he believed it had to be more.
Anyhow he and Ri were on their way to release Rylee and her three children.
"Open the doors!" Xerxes said to the guards, making them all nod.
They opened the doors for his cousin first as he stood in front of his Aunt's door. Inside, Rylee was in the left corner of the room, shivering making him sigh.
"Aunt Rylee, you can come out now. We swept through all of your things and theirs. All you came out clean. We'll still be keeping the closest tabs on you. If we find anything, your death will be just like Kayden's." Riley said, making her nod, then began walking towards them.
"A—"
"I understand X..."
"Don," Luca said, walking up with Rodney after Xerxes told them to stay.
"You will address as Don and her as Donna until they give you permission not to." He says, making her nod.
"Sorry... I understand, Don. You have to keep the family safe," She shrugged.
"To be on the safe side, you will be living here in the house with us," Xerxes said as he led them to their rooms.
Xerxes and Riley had Gen and Vince tap recording their every move. They didn't know that.
Also, they weren't allowed, visitors.
"This is your new room until everything blows over," X told her, making her nod. As he was about to turn, one of his cousins spoke.
"Don, I'm lost. Why were we in confinement?" Gina asked.
"You Father decided to work for the enemy turning on his family."
"You thought we were in on it? Understandable, but this family is all we know. Whatever the bastard did or said to make him turn was him. I rather die than turn on my family," Jackson said, making his sisters and Xerxes nod walking away as he and Ri went to the living room, seeing most of the family.
"How did she take it? Did she whoop your ass?" Caleb asked, making X chuckle.
"No. She just accepted it," Riley answered, making him nod.
