Watson's pov

I let him in and bring him to the living room.

Ina: Who is this? He kind of looks like Gura.

Watson: Apparently he's Gura's childhood friend, his name is Codd.

Codd: I have proof.

He grabs a picture out of his pocket. It has two children in it. One looks like a younger him, and the other looks like a younger Gura. They both seem really happy in the picture.

Watson: Alright, so I'm a little confused. You should know why and how Gura left Atlantis in the first place right? Could she possibly do it again?

Codd: That's a long story.

Kiara: Well we have time, as long as it's not over an hour long.

Codd: Alright, I'll tell you the whole thing.

Gura's pov

many years ago

Gura: Daddy, can I go out and play?

King: No.

Gura: Aw why? You never let me play outside.

King: It's dangerous out there, I can't have you getting hurt. I need you for my plan.

Gura: Plan?

I go to my mom and sit on her lap.

Queen: Can't you let her play outside once?

She gently strokes my hair.

King: I said no.

Gura: Fine, I'm going to bed.

I go to my bedroom. My dad only allows me to walk around the first floor of the castle. That's literally the only place I can go. Little does he know, I've snuck out many times. So many that I'm basically a pro by now. I stuff some pillows and sheets underneath my blanket to look like I'm under there. I turn off the light and sneak out through the window. I sneak into the garden. There's guards. I wait for them to pass before I leave the garden and go into the city.

Voice: Hey Gura!

I turn around. It's Codd! He's my best friend. He plays with me when I sneak out.

Gura: Hi Codd!

Codd: What are we doing today?

Gura: Let's play at the park!

I start running towards the park.

Codd: Wait up!

He rushes to catch up to me. I'm a lot faster than him. We spend the day playing at the park. Once it gets a little dark, we start to head home. Codd lives near the castle so we walk most of the way home together.

Codd: I'll see you tomorrow!

Gura: Bye!
