Watson's pov
I sit down on the couch. I'm stunned. That whole story Uto just told me, with the angels and Kanata. I'm still trying to process it.
Watson: Kanata was your partner?
Uto: She still kind of is.
Watson: Wait if you're not allowed to show your wings, why did you show me?
Uto: Because I trust you. As long as you don't tell anyone, which they probably wouldn't believe you anyway, it's fine.
Watson: I see. Oh also where's that kid you had with you from before?
Uto: Oh, I lied. It wasn't my kid, it's just someone I was mentoring to become an angel.
Watson: Oh, okay. Do you know where mom is?
Uto: That I don't know. You'll have to find her yourself. She's in this city somewhere, I know that for sure.
Watson: You don't want to see her?
Uto: It's not that. It's just I have some angel work to do.
Watson: Oh, okay. Well I'll get going, I need to find where mom is.
Uto: Alright, I'll talk to you later. Come visit me anytime!
She smiles. I hug her. She hugs back. I leave the living room and exit her house, closing the door behind me. I get back into my car.
Watson: I'll see you soon, mom.
I start driving around the city, looking for my mom. I don't have any clues so this is the best I can do at the moment. I look for about an hour and am not able to find her. I stop back at the house and sigh. I exit my car enter the house door and close it behind me. I notice something. The hallway light is on. I swear I turned it off when I left. I go into the living room. The place is all messed up. What happened here?
Calli's pov
We finished eating and packing and now we're walking around an amusement park. Gura and Ina took Hannah to the kids part of the park meanwhile I'm here just waiting for Kiara to come back from the bathroom. She soon does so and we continue to walk around.
Kiara: Want to go on that roller coaster?
She points at one that goes really high up. I sweat from being nervous just by looking at it.
Calli: Um how about the bumper cars?
Kiara: Aw is reaper scared?
She teases.
Calli: N-No! I just don't want to throw up since we just ate that's all.
Kiara can tell I'm lying.
Kiara: You'll be fine, come on!
She pulls me towards the line to the rollercoaster.
Staff: Alright we have a normal cart and a couples cart. Is anyone in this line dating?
