Gura's pov

I'm dragged into the alley and pinned against the wall. I look at who it is. I knew it. It's my brother.

Gura: What are you doing here?

Brother: Come back home. Now.

Gura: Why should I?

Brother: Because if you don't, dad will unleash Atlantis's wrath on the human world. Do you want that?

Gura: You underestimate the human world. We're physically stronger but the humans have more advanced weapons.

Brother: You're willing to let a war begin just so you can stay here?

Gura: Dad is ruthless dictator that doesn't care about anything but his own country. Why should I care about Atlantis when all it is, is a nuisance to this world. Don't forget what he did to the aqua kingdom.

Brother: They had it coming.

Gura: They didn't even do anything! Dad was just way too paranoid.

Near Atlantis was a kingdom called the Aqua kingdom. It was a very peaceful kingdom with a kind and generous king and queen. However, they upgraded their military for defense, but dad saw it as an act of war and invaded and conquered it. It was a blood bath. All because of my selfish dad.

Brother: Whatever, we're going back now!

He grabs my arm. I pull away.

Gura: No! I'm not going back. I left for a reason, I don't want anything to do with Atlantis anymore! Also what kind of brother drags his sister into an Alley way while covering her mouth?!

Brother: Fine. If I can't convince you, maybe this will.

He hands me a letter.

Brother: Make your decision soon.

He also hands me a cell phone.

Brother: Dad will call on this phone and you better answer it. I don't know when he'll call but he will. I hope you're smart enough to realize you have no choice here.

He walks away. I look at the letter. Damn it! I start to walk back home. This is the worst.

Present

I look at the letter and open it. I read it. It says: "To Gura. Come back home immediately. I'm not asking. That's an order. You know what will happen if you don't. When you get here, you will be marrying the prince from the Fishland kingdom. I expect you to come home soon. I'll call you and ask you if you're ready to be picked up. - Dad"

I squeeze the letter. That jerk! I crumble it up into a ball and toss it in the small trash can. He only wants me to marry that prince because Fishland has an equal military in power to Atlantis! He just wants a powerful empire. I hate him so much he doesn't even care about me! Ugh!

I flop on the bed. I might have to though. If I don't, both kingdoms will invade the human world and there will be bloodshed even worse than the Aqua kingdom. If I go back, at least they will have no reason to invade the human world. I hate this. Maybe this will be the last time I'll see my friends.
