Can you hear my heartbeat?

I'm right here next to you,

Bum Bum Bum,

A steady rhythm,

Beating for you,

It quickens when I see your face,

Pauses if only a moment,

When I think something is wrong,

Strong,

Relentless,

Beating no matter what,

Can you hear my heartbeat?
