Insanity

Do you hear the voices in your head too?

I'll walk around talking with them,

My therapist tells me I'm delusional,

I can't focus,

My hand shakes,

As I hold my pencil on test day,

The voices in my head tell me,

I'm incoherent and I'll fail,

Can't sleep at night,

Staring at the ceiling till' daybreak,

I shove the pills,

My doctor prescribed,

 Down my throat,

Supposed to shut out the voices in my head,

Sure does a crappy job,

What do I do you ask?

Try to cope?

Try to breathe?

Nope,

I forced to live with my insanity.
