Falling asleep was one of the worst things Wanda was afraid of. She could never escape her past memories and her nightmares always brang them back to her.

She tried stopping them but they only got worse.

You were having a tough night sleeping. You kept waking up and every time you tried falling back asleep, your brain wouldn't let you.

So you decided to just go on your phone. Going through apps and watching random youtube videos peacefully, you were brutally interrupted when you heard a loud scream coming from what it sounded like wanda's room.

Your heart was racing from the sudden noise but you still stood up and ran out of your room to go and see if she was alright. Slowly opening your door, you saw Wanda shuffling in her bed.

Tears started to fall down her face, mixing with her sweat. Her lips were trembling and you couldn't take it anymore.

You ran as fast as you could to her nearly tripping. You leaned over to her and grabbed her shoulders shaking them. "Wanda wake up its just a nightmare!" you shouted loudly but not too much, so you didn't wake up any of the avengers.

Wandas eyes quickly opened and she started breathing heavily, holding her head in her hands trying to catch her breath.

She stopped when she felt a presence in her room. Looking up she saw a concerned mixed guilty expression on your face.

"Y/N? What are you doing here.." she mumbled, feeling embarrassed that you are seeing her like this.

"I heard you scream from the other room and I wanted to make sure you were alright." you spoke softly to her and wandas cheeks started to grow red.

"W-well that is very nice of you but you should go now." she spoke quickly with her thick sokovian accent.

"Are you sure you don't want me to stay?" you said placing your hand on her shoulder.

Wanda flinched at your touch but soon relaxed. "u-uh-øk." She stuttered and you smiled at her.

You then went to wrap your arms around Wanda and she was about to have a heart attack, from the looks of it. She started to smile uncontrollably but hugged back.

Without thinking you leaned closer and pressed your lips onto hers. Wanda didn't refuse to kiss back.

After a long kiss she glanced at you all flustered. You kissed her head before laying your head down on her pillow.

Wanda layed next to you before speaking. "Y/N?" she whispered to you. "Hmm?"

She was hesitant to speak. "why did you do that?" she spoke to you. "Do what?" you replied, playing dumb.

"You know. Kiss me.." she mumbled the last part to herself but you still heard it.

"Oh." you smiled. "Because well I love you." wandas heart started to swell up with happiness.

"Really?" you looked over at her and half smiled. "Of course. Do you..love me back?"

"Always." she said smiling brightly. There was a long silence before you decided to ask her something.

"Hey wands?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you wanna speak about your nightmare?" Wanda stopped in her tracks not being prepared for your question.

"Oh- well you see um-" You quickly interrupted her." you don't have to if you don't feel comfortable."

"No I will say." Wanda took a deep breathe before speaking. "you see, I have lost a lot of people in my life and the moments when I saw them die I get flashbacks and they just get worse and worse, with my parents and pietro my brother.. it just hurts too deeply." she said while her eyes brimmed with tears.

"Oh Wanda." you spoke wiping her tears and kissing her softly before hugging her.

"I just don't want to loose y-you." you smiled at her comment. "You arent going to loose me, i'm right here ok?" you said looking into her eyes.

She slowly nodded. "Now lets get some sleep. You will need the energy for  tomorrow."

You both then fell asleep, and Wanda didn't have any nightmares for the first time in a while.
