Wanda your girlfriend, had been acting really strange recently. She would barely eat anything,her dark circles gave away that she wasn't sleeping at night.
And whenever you guys went on missions she would be half asleep on your shoulder when travelling to the enemies.
You felt like something was going on but whenever you would ask she would just say. "I'm fine."or "don't worry about it."
You couldn't help but start to feel worried about her so when you woke up to have some cereal you were gonna confront her properly this time.
Walking down the hall, getting some cereal, you were met with Tony also getting some cereal. "Morning Tony." You said in your groggy voice.
"Morning kid." he said back, pouring some milk into his bowl of cereal. You went to get your fruit loops (or whatever you prefer) and poured them into a bowl.
Then you went to grab some milk and poured it into the bowl of cereal. Tony was about to leave but you spoke before he could.
"Hey Tony?" you said,while he was stuffing a big spoon of cereal into his mouth.
"Hmm?" he mumbled.
"Can i ask you something?" you said, grabbing a spoon and mixing your bowl of cereal with the milk.
"Yeah sure,what is it?" he said looking a bit nervous.
"You know Wanda?"
"Yeah."
"Has she been acting strange to you recently?" you asked him and he looked at you a bit dazed.
"Uh what do you mean?"
"Like have you seen anything off about her recently?"
Tony sighed before talking. "well she is definitely not around you as much as she used to be,which is a surprise because normally she is all over you."
You laughed a bit at the end of his comment. "But with that I think she is just sad, probably going through the times. I mean we all have those times when we cant be motivated to do anything anymore."
Slowly nodding you decided to look deeper into it. "I don't really think she's just going 'through the times' I think it's deeper than that."
Tony put one last bowl of cereal in his mouth before looking at your untouched bowl. "Are you gonna have that?" he said pointing to it.
Sighing you passed the bowl over the counter to Tony. "Yeah why not I've lost my appetite anyway."
"If I was you I would properly check up on her." he said walking away with your cereal.
You nodded and decided to go up to Wandas room.Before you knocked though,you heard some crying and some objects falling on the floor.
You knocked twice and you heard some shuffling.You gulped and Wanda opened the door.There were stains were it showed she was crying.
"Y-Y-N..what are you doing h-here?"she questioned and her voice cracking.
"We need to talk."you said and without her consent you walked into her room.You saw a shattered glass on the floor next to her bed.
You sat down on her bed and a knot grew in Wandas stomach.She was fearing for the worst but she sat down next to you and just stayed to play with the rings on her fingers.
"Wanda..I need to talk to you about something important..and I need you to be honest with me ok?"you said holding her hands and putting your hand under her chin so she could look at you.
She slowly nodded."Are you ok?"Wandas lips started to tremble,her mouth opened but no words came out.After a second she started to have a meltdown.
Holding her head in her hands and crying her eyes out.You looked at her with sympathy,you took her hands and holded them,rubbing your thumb over her knuckles.
"Wanda tell me what's wrong please."you asked and she looked into your eyes,trying not to cry.
"Y-Y/N it's a-all my f-fault.."she stuttered and some tears welled up in her eyes but you kept wiping them with your thumb.
"What is?"you asked a look of concern going over your face.
"D-death.."she trembled.
"Whose?"
"P-ietros..."she whispered and your heart nearly broke,you knew Wanda felt guilty for Pietro's death but you didn't think it would go this far.
You wrapped your arms around Wanda and she cried into your chest."His death was not your fault Wanda..it was no ones fault..no one could have stopped him,he does have super speed after all."
Wanda smiled,thinking about her brother and the past memories they had together but those memories got covered in pain and a lot of it.
So she started to cry again.You were pretty sure your shirt was soaked now from Wanda's tears but you didn't care all you cared about right now was comforting Wanda and being there for her.
"I-i know but I c-can't help b-but feel guilty.."she spoke quietly to you and you started to stroke her hair with your hand.
"I know.."you said softly,trying to calm her down.
"I swear to you,I could have saved him but ultron..HE KILLED HIM!"Wanda shouted making you jump she stopped hugging you and her eyes started to glow red.
"Hey,hey,hey..Wanda calm down before you do something you will regret.."you said calmly and it seemed to have calmed Wanda down because her eyes went back to her original eye colour.
"I'm sorry for scaring you.."she whispered,making you look up.You smiled."Wanda it's fine,just please eat and sleep more,I know it's hard but I am here for you."
Wanda smiled at you."I love you."she said softly and then leaned closer to you so she could kiss you.
You kissed for a while but until you needed to breathe."I love you too." <3
