She gives you a look as if she was waiting for your reply, "we can't just leave Wanda."
"Why not? They never cared for us in the first place." she bites the inside of her cheek, using her powers to look around the forest.
You lifted yourself off the fallen tree and look around in fear, you hated the dark and right now, you were terrified." it's not safe out there." Only using it as an excuse so you could get back indoors.
"Your going to say that to me? i could kill 50 men for fun if i wanted to." she smirks. Wanda turns to look at your face, using her powers to see. "you don't have to stay, you can go back." she reminds you as you both hear movement around you in the bushes.
"I'm not leaving you out here- what about your stuff at the compound?"
Wanda turns to you, having a smug look on her face. "want to sneak back in and get it?" From her face, you could tell that she wasn't joking. "You really want to sneak in? What if we get caught."
"So what, I can just use my powers to put them in a trance." She smiles almost proudly, staring down at her hands in awe.
"fuck it-what other choice do we have." you sigh and jump in fear as a rabbit runs past the two of you.
You ended up backing into Wanda, her hand meeting with your waist."woah watch your step." She gives you a soft smile, her red powers illuminating your face.
"y-yeah sorry, it was just a stupid rabbit." you speak up and feel your face grow hot as her touch was still on you. "your scared of rabbits?" she says in a mocking manner.
"No! I-it's just dark and i hate it, you never know what's around you." you continue to look down at her hand, and she soon realized and quickly pulled it away. "Better watch your back then."
Wanda started to walk off in a different direction, as you soon followed her. "Where are we going?" You ask and look around you, resulting in absolute nothingness.
"Back to that shithole- you want to retrieve your things right?" she turns around to glance at you, almost laughing at your petrified face. "calm down, we're only in the forest." She smiles but notices your still scared.
"hey.. if your that scared of the dark then.." Wanda uses the hand she's not using as a light source, to intertwine her hand with yours.
This action made butterflies swarm in your stomach, it was a weird sensation that you weren't used to. "come on." She pulls your hand so you could continue walking at her pace.
"yeah yeah- im coming."
The two of you continued to walk throughout the dark forest, seeing the light of the avengers compound in the distance. " do you need anything?" You ask, following behind her. "Maybe I could do with a few clothes." She turns to look at you.
"Mhm." You hum and walk out of the trees, seeing Natasha watching tv with Steve. "Shit their gonna see us." You whisper to Wanda and she chuckles. "Relax y/n, there distracted." She says and signals you to follow her behind the compound.
"Okay the paths clear." She starts to sneak around to the door, and lets you go first. "What a gentlemen." You walk quietly through the door, feeling Wanda slap your arm. "Shut up."
"Shit, shit, shit wanda move!" You whisper at her and hide behind the wall. "What?!" she looked at you but then saw Tony approaching.
Wanda grabbed your waist and pulled you into her chest, causing you to gasp. She put her hand over your mouth as Tony stopped after hearing the noise, but decided it was nothing. You heard him walk up the stairs and you pushed yourself out of Wanda's arms.
"What the hell was that?" You yell at her in a whisper. "He was going to see you! I did you a favour." She walks past you and starts to slowly walk up the stairs, as you look behind you to make sure no one was coming.
"This is so stupid." you scoff and Wanda turned around, quickly grabbing you and pushing you into a room where the door was already open. "Someone's coming." She says and you couldn't help but laugh to yourself.
"What's so funny?" She asks, genuinely confused.
"is there really any need for this? we could just walk in and out." you had to lower your voice as someone was nearby. "But it's fun though right?" she smirks and walks away from you, looking through the door.
"Okay come on." she quickly walks around the corner, and you watch as she walked into your room. "ugh." you didn't want to risk it, but Wanda was gesturing for you to come towards her, you could tell she was getting annoyed.
"Fine, Fine." you roll your eyes and walk towards her. "what took you so long." she asks you and you grab a bag from your desk, not paying attention to her. "doesn't matter." you say and grab some clothes from your closet, and a other few mandatory things.
"You've got a bag right?" You ask, looking up from your bag. "uh no." she puts her hands on her hips as you pass her a spare one. "Go pack yours stuff." you wave your hand for her to leave and she walks out quickly.
When you finally finished packing all your stuff away, you put it over your shoulder and made your way to Wanda's room. When you realised she wasn't there you panicked, thinking she had left without you already.
You felt a pair of hands on your shoulder and screamed, turning around seeing it's Wanda. You smack her on the arm as she laughs to herself, "you should have seen your face!"
"whose up there!" a voice calls out and both your eyes widen. "shit your such an idiot." you say to her and watch her run over to the window. "we could jump out." Wanda opens up her window and you shake your head.
"Over my dead body." you say but the sound of someone's footsteps storming up the stairs made you think otherwise. You turn to look at Wanda again to see her already half way out the window. "it's not that big of a jump." she calls out and you hear a loud thud.
Running towards the window, you look down to see her brushing herself off. "it's not that bad."
"says the person with superpowers." you look back to hear the person approaching, "do you wanna get caught? jump down you idiot." she puts her arms out for you and you take a breath in. "Oh what the hell, what the hell." you say to yourself and put your leg through the window, and then your other one.
You threw your bag down for her to catch and used your hands to hold onto the window.
"jump you moron!" Wanda rushed and you quickly jumped, as you fell onto her and the both of you fell to the ground just before the person came into the room. "ow that hurt." Wanda groans and you take a breath.
"are you going to get off me?" she says to you and brings you back to reality. "oh yeah- sorry." you apologize and had to put your hand on Wanda's thigh to push yourself up, and grab your bag that was next to you.
She gets up after you and brushes herself off again. "so what now." you ask and she looks up at the window. "Don't look at me like I'd know." she says confused and you raised an eyebrow at her.
"This was your idea!" you shouted at her and she shook her head. "you agreed to it."
"whatever..I have some money but that's it." you gesture to your bag and she bites her lip. "That's a start.." she starts to walk away and you call out to her, "where are you going?"
"We can get a hotel, are you coming or not?" she asks you and let out a sigh, before following after her.
