FOURTY TWO | Someone else

Wanda has had the biggest crush on you for years now.

It started when you two first met that caused her to be in love with you at first sight.

The only problem was,was that you had feelings for someone else.

It was Thor.You had just found him so funny and attractive and he just made you feel so happy all the time.

Wanda never noticed your feelings towards Thor because she was so head over heels for you and you didn't even know.

And obviously Thor didn't realise about Wanda because he also liked you.

But one night,Wanda finally had the confidence to tell you her true feelings.

You heard a knock on your door and you got off your bed and opened it.
"Hey Wanda."you smiled.

"Hey!Do you wanna go and get some ice cream with me?"she said excitedly,biting her bottom lip.

"Yeah sure."you grinned.

You shut your door and walked out with Wanda onto the streets.

"So,how have you been?"wanda asked while you too walked to the ice cream store.

"I've been good,what about you?"you questioned.

"Good.good."she smiled.

After you got to the store,you had no idea what you wanted.

"God there's so many flavours."you whispered.

"Yeah,I think im going to get chocolate chip please."Wanda said and you nodded.

"Yeah bubblegum please."you decided.

After you got your ice cream,you went out of the store and walked down the street.

"Is it good?"Wanda giggled because you were scoffing the ice cream.

"Yeah!Is Yours good?"you asked.

"Yes."Wanda spoke while she kept giggling at you.

"What?"You asked her confused.

"You have got ice cream all over your mouth."Wanda laughed at you while you groaned.

"It's fine let me get it off."she said still laughing but instead of using a tissue she used her own hands.

"Is it gone?"you asked and she nodded while licking the ice cream of her finger.

"Actually,there is something I've been meaning to ask you for a while now."Wanda stammered.

"Mhm,what is it?"you questioned,now curious.

"U-um,well you k-know how we have been f-friends for a while now.."Wanda stuttered and you nodded.

"Well,in that time I have had something towards you that,I was too scared to tell you."she whispered.

"I'm in love with you."she shouted accidentally making you jump.

Wanda put her hand over her mouth,not believing that she had just said that.

"I-Wanda I."you mumbled.

"It's okay-"she started but you cut her off.

"No.I'm flattered but I don't feel the same way..."you said,muttering the last part but she had heard it making Wanda's heart ache.

"Is it because of my personality or the way I look because I can change!-"she trembled,tears slowly falling down her cheeks.

"No,no it's just I have feelings for someone else."you explained.

"Who?"she asked while every minute of this situation made your heart break.

"Thor."you muttered.

Wanda's eyes nearly bulged out of her head,the last person she thought that you would like was him.

"What does he have that I don't?!"Wanda exclaimed.

You looked around and no one was on the streets making you raise an eyebrow.

"Look Wanda,your beautiful,kind,sweet but I just don't like you like that okay?Im sorry."you apologised and her eyes started to glow red.

"No..Wanda."you murmured.

"Am I not good enough?"she spoke softly but you didn't know what to say.

"Of course you are,come here."you said.

Wanda collapsed in your arms and started to cry hysterically.

"Hey shh,it's going to be okay."you spoke,trying to calm her down.

"I've loved you for so many years and I found out you don't even feel the same way about me."she cried into your arms.

"Come on,let's go back inside."you suggested and she nodded but wouldn't move.

So you picked her up bridal style and made your way back to the avengers.

When you came back everyone was asleep,accept from Thor.

"Lady y/n is Wanda okay?"he asked confused.

"Yes but she is just very upset right now so I'm going to take her to her room."you explained.

"Okay,I'll be on the couch if you need me."he told.

You tried your best to be quiet so you didn't wake anyone up.

Opening Wanda's door you slowly laid her down and put the covers over her.

"Goodnight."you smiled while she was already in a deep sleep.
