Aurum's POV:

|• My eyes slowly opened, vision still blurry and shaky but thankfully it gradually cleared. My hand instantly went to the side of my head, rubbing it to ease the pain.

My head turned from left to right, wondering where I am. I was laying down on a fairly large bed, there were furnitures around and the large glass windows were opened. The curtains pinned to the sides, the sunlight invading the large room.

'Where am I? The only thing I remember is Lant Agriche chocking me—

Why am I in a bed again? Who changed my clothes'

My hands searched my body, looking for anything suspicious or anything that would prove my theories, pannicking. Thankfully, there wasn't.

Sigh

I pushed the thick blanket out of my legs and lifted up the white night dress and checked my injury.

'Was Roxana the one who treated me? Speaking of Roxana, where's Cassis?',

My head quickly raised, noticing there was someone inside the room. A young boy, my age? Or is he younger?,

He had his head resting on his palm, eyes closed, sleeping. He was sitting on a chair a few meters away from the bed, was he always been there? Why is he even here?

'Jeremy Agriche, was it?'

I silently took a step off the bed and swiftly walked towards him, checking for the second time if he's really asleep.

'Why are you here?'

My gaze then turned to the small circle shaped table beside him, two meal for breakfast was there. Pancakes, water, fruits. Food for the morning.

I'm getting quite hungry, I haven't ate a proper meal for a whole week. Not to mention I was poisoned...

But why is it here? Is this his? Why is there two plates then…?

'don't tell me...'

"If you're hungry then eat"

My body jolted at the sudden voice, I looked back at the now awake boy and took a step back, startled. I didn't answer...

He raised an eyebrow, "What, do you want me to shove it in your mouth?", He leaned back on his chair.

I don't know why you're here or what your purpose is, but I am very hungry thank you very much. I quickly sat down on the chair and picked up the presented untensils, and started eating, not even thinking of it's poisoned or not.

'surprisingly it's tasty'

I silently ate the pancake, not paying attention to the pair of blue eyes staring at me while I eat. I frowned, "It's rude to stare...", I silently commented...
