|• Roxana walked past the guard, she was at the dungeons again. Planning to visit the cousins for the second time. Seeing as Cassis was already awake, she smiled...

Though she was a bit worried about Aurum who has not awoken yet...

"You...What did you feed me, and what did you do to Aurum, where is she?", The silver-haired man glared.

"... Antidote, you were given a paralyzing agent when you came. And I only wrapped her thigh with bandages...

If I leave the both of you be, your conditions would only get worse...

Aren't you feeling a bit better now?", she hummed while looking down at him. Cassis, however, was still doubtful of her actions and growled in answer...

"If that was really an antidote, what are you planning by giving it to me? What do gain from saving us?", Cassis demanded with a challenging smirk.

But Roxana's answer confused him, "... there's nothing like that..."

"Cassis Padelian, that is your name, right? And that child, she's Aurum Lapis, am I right?",

"Why bother lying at this point?", Cassis gritted his teeth. He was acting offensive towards the lady, though the lady couldn't blame him.

No one would trust a person from the people who captured you, not to mention that he was currently blind. Also, he needed to protect his unconscious cousin...

"After bringing us here despite knowing who we are. Are you one of Agriche's filthy dogs? Who are you?!", The man demanded impatiently...

The clanging of moving chains interrupted their conversation. Roxana's line of sight quickly moved towards the now awake Aurum Lapis, whose condition was no better than her cousin...

Not to mention her bleeding thigh, she flinched at the feeling, "ah!"

"Aurum? Aurum are you alright?", Cassis called. His head, however, didn't move towards the girl, instead, his head looked everywhere around the cell like he didn't know where she was...

You're temporarily blind, right?", Roxana leaned down to him.

"As well is your cousin...", Roxana muttered enough for Cassis to hear as she stole a glance at the chained-up girl whose eyes were already staring at both of them...

Roxana's eyes narrowed, was she not blind?

No, maybe she has an enhanced sense that she was able to tell where they were...

"It's true", she learned away with a smirk. "Both of you can't see anything"...
