And I took a step and fell.
"Ow..." She said, rubbing her head.
"Reading while walking again?" Said Mother furrowing her brow.
"Yes! this book is fascinating" Rowena said as he picked her to book up "Did you know this?" She pushed the book toward her mother.
To her surprise mother turned away "Rowena, Be careful." Mother said with strain in her voice. She stepped outside. This was much unlike her mother, she was standoffish, sure and judgemental hut mother was interested and always tried to understand and know everything. She was a gossip- though would never admit to be.
"Wait? Where are you going? Can you bring back a book?" Rowena desperately called at her mother who was departing, her long sleek black hair was styled and not one hair out of line. She is always like that.
"The market, and I don't think you should take your father's books anymore..." Mothe'rs voice trailed off as she began to wake away.
"A newspaper?" She called as her mother stepped into the street.
She sighed. Opened her book and continued reading.
"RoRo!" A little girl in a small simple blue dress. Her black hair in ponytails and her big green eyes always questioning, always curious. She looked like her mother as Rowena took after her father.
A smile makes its way onto Rowena's face "Hey there!" She opened her arms and the four-year-old girl gave her a warm embrace. She was hounding up and down, to be honest sometimes she was so energetic it tired Rowena.
Sangrila tilted her head" What's that?" She pointed to the book in Rowena's hand
"A book," Rowena said with wonder in her voice. "There are thousands of books in father's study and they are all so interesting!"
"Bok!Bok!" She sang as her little hands waved at Rowena "bok!!!"
Rowena giggled "Book, B-o-o-k"
"Bo-o-k"Sangrila spelled out with exaggerated Pronounciation.
"Yeah! Book."
"I want bok!" Sangrila demanded.
"As you wish"
