"My folder, my ring... they're gone."
"What do you mean, they're gone? And what are you talking about?" Hyuk asked, joining Gina in rummaging through her room.
"I mean exactly what I say, Hyuk, they're GONE. I know exactly where I put them and I took the key with me to Julia's house. I don't put anything else in that locked drawer other than those two things." She said, her voice shaking.
The other boys didn't know what the heck she was talking about, except for Ken, who kept quiet. Gina stopped digging through her things and sighed, sitting on the floor. Her eyes were filled with tears.
"What am I going to do? Those things were the most important things to me..."
"We all lost things that were important to us, too, Gina."
"But those two things were the key to solving my family's murder and getting my life back together again." She blurted out, her voice caught in her throat as her eyes widened in fear. The truth finally came out.
"Family murder? Getting your life back together? Gina, what's going on?" N asked softly, slowly approaching the girl sitting on the floor curled in a fetal position. Feeling his comforting hand on her shoulder, she turned away and curled into the side of her bed, sobbing softly.
"Gina... We need to know what's going on, too, you know? I promise we aren't going to say anything about this to anyone." N reassured her, glancing at the rest of the boys who nodded solemnly.
Hiccuping, she weakly patted the spot on the floor next to her. N sat down beside her, the rest of the boys following suit, forming a circle around her.
Taking a deep breath, she began to tell her story...

After I fixed up my part of the room to the point that it was decent, I took the trash bag full of my broken belongings out to the dumpster. I was kind of upset, to be honest; one of the things that was broken was a new iPad that I had gotten from a fan. I never even got to use it!
But that wasn't even a fraction of what I was thinking about right now.
I wondered whether Hyuk had those feelings for a long time. Maybe even longer than I have. I mean, I just realized my feelings for her, but Hyuk had already realized his feelings and was suppressing them for the longest time.
Hyuk was a young guy, obviously he had to get that off his chest. But me... what will I do? I had to think about other's feelings, even though they may not make me the happiest person on the planet.
Hyuk was like a little brother to me, I couldn't rip him apart over a girl. At the same time, this wasn't any girl that we were talking about. This girl was something different from the female idols that we usually worked with; she was strong, independent and didn't take any nonsense from anyone. She knew what she wanted and where she wanted to go. It was kind of ridiculous, how mature and composed her seventeen-year-old self was.
I understood why she had to mature so early, though. Everything around her was burned to the ground and she went from princess to beggar in her short lifetime. You can't be childish when it comes to running away from someone.
Tossing the bag into the dumpster, I wiped my sweaty palms against my pants and trudged back up the stairs. My mind wandered to the story that Gina had just recounted of her past.
The fact that she was trying hard not to cry and the sincerity I heard in her voice told me that this wasn't something to joke about.
I was more surprised that she was able to act normally and blend in with everyone else regardless of her past.
