"Uh... What just happened?" I questioned, staring at the motionless girl on the floor. Ken's jaw slacked before he scooped up the girl in his arms and set her gently on the couch. After covering her with a blanket, he whirled around and pointed an accusing finger at me, his eyes burning with anger.
"You idiot! That was too much! Now look what happened!" Ken wailed, motioning towards the pale girl on the couch.
"Well, you're the one who agreed to it!" I shot back. He huffed and walked over to the pale girl and covered her with a blanket.
Ken and I were planning to surprise her with a new laptop, but we didn't know how to surprise her. We both decided to surrpise her, and Gina probably fainted because I probably shocked her too much. Now I know something new about her.
Never surprise Gina like you are about to kidnap her. Especially with handcuffs. I tapped my chin and thought for a minute.
"Hey, Ken?" I called the boy, and he turned to me, ceasing his constant fretting over the poor girl.
"Yeah?" He answered, a little bit less upset, but clearly still.
"Don't you think that her reaction was a little... strange? I mean, who just straight out faints from that?" Ken looked at me for a minute, and he seemed to catch my drift.
"Maybe something happened to her when she was little that was really traumatizing, and doing something like that might have triggered a shock." That made some sense.
"Since when were you the doctor?"
"It isn't being a doctor. Its common sense." He sassed, walking away and putting the new laptop away in her room. "I think the boys and I will set it up later, when Gina wakes up."
"I think that would be a good idea."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing. Absolutely nothing." He shot me a glare, but let it go. Ken probably realized it wouldn't be the best thing to try and fish it out. I keep secrets pretty well.
"When do you think they are coming back?"
"Hyuk and Ravi are doing a show, N is at a radio show, Leo and Hongbin are at Dream Team. I think they will all take about the same amount of time to get back." He calculated.
"Was that your common sense, too?" I said sarcastically.
"Shut up." He shot me a glare before playfully punching my arm. "You want anything to eat?"
"Nope, I think I need to go on home. Its getting a little late now, and my roommate is probably flipping shit right now too." My roomie was definitely the motherly type, even though I have to remind her that I had been living in Korea for my whole life.
He chuckled before saying, "Do you need a taxi?" I shook my head.
"Thank for helping me. I don't think Gina needs to be surprised anymore..." He mumbled. I giggled before adding a "Say hi to the guys for me, okay?" He nodded before waving goodbye and shutting the door after me.
Walking through the streets of Seoul, I really looked at the busy streets and I was marvelled. How could I have not witnessed the hustle bustle of the city for the last five years I was here? I was born in the country (not on a farm, thank you.) so it was always a little weird seeing so many people in one place.
I guess you could say I was mentally in an alternate universe.
Then there was Gina. I was kind of worried about her, to be quite honest. I've never seen her react that way, and she always seemed fine when we were together. Now that I think about it, she was a little nervous about all of the people out at the mall when we went shopping the other day, and when she fainted from the surprise today, it was a little nerve-wracking.
