It's ben six months, and the doctor says I'm at the mental and physical state of an 11 year old. I've alreaduy hit puberty, and hate dealing with mother nature, but oh well. I've jumped from dorm to dorm to dorm to dorm about every month, and thhey think It'll be seven more months before I'm 18. At 18, I'll slow my growth and then they talk about boys and get me someone to be with that's gone through the academy as well. I've been told, at the age of 8, that I'm in an academy and I did really bad things, so my parents sent me here. I don't know what I did, but I know I don't want to follow in that path any more, and I want to do better for myself. Anyways, I've had a crash course in each age group of the things like math, science, art, computers, so on and so forth. I excel at math, science, and computers, so on top of my classes, I take a weekend course in programming. The advanced computer class that I'm in is talking about wht different technology can do with a little programming. Now that I'm 11, I'll be learning how to program basic robots, and I'll even have an animal to care for since I'm almost a teen.
I got to choose between a gerbil, hamster, guinea pig, a ferret, and a rabbit. I chose the rabbit, since we have a free-range rabbit room in ourr dorm, and we bring them to class with us so we can learn how to properly socialize and groom them. But it's only on fridays, and we only can have them for the last half of the day, so whil we wait, we put them in a big exercise crate that if five feet high, since myt,sy classmate Molly's rabbit can jump r up to 4 feet. And we don't want him getting out.
This week is test wek, the week we see who is aging up mentally and needs to see Dr. S and who stays in the class. First day is academic tests, second day is animal care and other extra curricular classes, like yoga, martial arts, and swimming. Third day is is computer programming and other classes like it. If my robot fails to do the tasks I've programmed it, and the code doesn't look good, I'll fail that part, but as far as I know, and as far as I've tested, the robot is really responsive, sets out hay for the rabbits every day, which is what I trained it to do, and changes out the litter boxes when it sees clumps. I am still teaching it not to do it when a bunny is on he litter box, but hopefully that'll be worked out by Wednesday... But it's still picking up the rabbits when they are still pooping or peeing and I have to stop it mid pick up and save the litttle girl or guy. Luckily for me, they haven't caught me with the root in the room. We don't have as many cameras as the 8 ear olds or seven year olds do, or even the ten year olds , but we still are monitored by our collars.
Anyway, it's Monday morning, five thirty, and I'm silently stretching and getting up, I wake up 2, who wakes up 3, whowakes up 4, and so on and so forth... Our clothes arre all on a hanger rod in the closet on numbered hangers. Weekdays it's a red and white shirt, mostly red with the white number on the arms and front and back of the shirt. It's more discreet on the front, only bing on the little pocket. The bottons are a skort, skirt shorts combo that has our number in red on the pockets in the front.
We change colores depending on our age. Five is pink and yellow. Six is pink and purple, seven is blue and purple, eight iswhite and pink, nine is white and purple, and of course eleven is white and red. That way on the playground, we can be told apart from each other. I'm currently in a dormitory setup where each dorm has twelve girls. It's not like the days where I was 4 of six. Ever since I turned age eight, they have made me 1 since I'm usually the best behaved of the bunch, and eleven is no exception.
Anyways, when we are done making our beds and have our clothes and shoes in our hands, we line up beforre dorm mom comes in and inspects us. Week days, she inspects, weekends, dorm dad inspects us. He's harsher, expecting us to stand back to back with our partner. Oh that's another thing, we have partners for everything except showers. There's twelve showers an toilets and sinks. But for chores, meals, even going to the playground, we have a partner. I was paired up with two, who is working on a robot dog for those owners who don't want a dog that pees everywhere or are hypoallergenic or something. It even has a real dog voice box.
